The Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) Programme aims to pioneer the development and discovery of new and more effective methods for the treatment, prevention and control of new and emerging pathogens. The RO position is to support the research work of the team that focuses on studying the role of immune system in eczema and allergies. The candidate will work on primary cells from cohorts and cell culture systems towards understanding immune pathophysiology of disease. Additional work involves cellular and stimulation assays with flow cytometry and FACS analysis along with imaging by confocal microscopy, and associated data analysis with statistical tested.
