We are seeking a highly motivated researcher with expertise in cybersecurity to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and prototyping novel defense solutions to address cybersecurity, privacy, and resilience challenges in smart nation/smart city critical infrastructure that includes information, energy, water, smart building, and industrial IoT.
Your Responsibilities:
· Design system models and simulations to identify weak points and evaluate defence solutions.
· Develop tools and algorithms to analyse system vulnerabilities, detect cyberattacks, and perform threat hunting.
· Research ML/DL technologies to enhance threat detection processes and protect industrial systems against emerging cyber threats.
· Design and development of a digital twin and cyber range.
· Conduct full-stack research from fundamental to translational research.
· Conduct security testing to support and evaluate research, including prototyping cybersecurity technologies for demonstration.
Requirements
· Possess a PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field.
· Strong research track in system modelling/simulation and/or developing ML/DL models.
· Proficient in ML/DL concepts and frameworks such as Pytorch and Tensorflow.
· Proficient in Python, C, and/or C++.
· Familiar with system development and setting up virtual networks.
· Experience in threat modelling and vulnerability assessment.
· Experience in cybersecurity and cyber-physical systems is a bonus.
· Experience with graph theory and graph neural network is a plus.
