Responsibilities

• Site Product Manufacturing and Release Support. Provide front line support to the product manufacturing process analytics, release testing and working with the QC teams (internal sites), or in close collaboration with CDMO Analytical Expert counterparts, focusing on the testing methods for each batch, their release on time and in compliance with the batch and analytical procedures instructions and quality requirements.

• Primary packaging closure assessment during changes. Drive the qualification and/or validation of primary packaging materials testing methods including the design of container suitability studies for the assigned product(s). Evaluate and ensure, in case of packaging change, that the primary packaging closure - including materials - are sufficient to ensure stability of the product and do not deteriorate quality.
• Assure consistency of Analytical Testing Procedures. Ensure that all critical and significant parameters are within written Instruction (e.g., Testing procedures, Validation Plan), sufficient and appropriate for the product. Derive in collaboration with the internal sites (QC team) / CDMO analytical team, the upper and lower control limits for each product analytical methods (where relevant), as part of the CPV program launch for all products

Lead and/or support the GPS organization with all product and process related analytical investigations and deviations including complaints, Out of Expectation, Out of Specification, in partnership with internal / external site analytical teams. • Annual Product Reviews and Product Quality Reviews. Be highly knowledgeable of product and process trends by providing input to Annual Product Reviews and Product Quality Review for analysis and for driving process technology innovations. Requirements

• BSc. In Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent scientific degree. Desirable MSc. or equivalent experience.

About the Team

The Seed Foundation Machine Learning (ML) Systems team provides end-to-end (E2E) machine learning experience and machine learning resources for the company. The team builds heterogeneous ML training and inference systems based on GPU and AI chips and advances the state-of-the-art of ML systems technology to accelerate models such as stable diffusion and LLM.

The team is also responsible for research and development of hardware acceleration technologies for AI and cloud computing, via technologies such as distributed systems, compilers, HPC, and RDMA networking. The team is reinventing the ML infra for large scale language models. We have published papers at top tier conferences such as SIGCOMM, NSDI, EuroSys, OSDI, SOSP, MLSys, NeurIPS, etc.

Responsibilities:

- Optimizing large scale parallel training for state of the art deep learning algorithms such as large language models, multi-modality models, diffusion, reinforcement learning, etc

- Research and develop our machine learning systems, including accelerated computing architecture, management and monitoring

- Deploy the machine learning systems, distributed machine learning training and inference

- Manage cross-layer optimization of system and AI algorithms and hardware for machine learning (GPU, ASIC)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

- Bachelor or above degree in distributed, parallel computing principles and know the recent advances in computing, storage, networking, and hardware technologies;

- Familiar with machine learning algorithms, platforms and frameworks such as PyTorch and Jax.

- Have basic understanding of how GPU and/or ASIC works;

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Research Scientist to join the team.

Experienced in artificial intelligence and machine learning, passion to innovate and improve the capabilities of existing solutions, work closely with cutting-edge research projects, develop new algorithms, AI initiatives, for independent and collaborative research.

Your new role

As AI Researcher in the engineering team, you will be responsible for:

· You will be responsible to design and conduct scientific experiments, utilizing core

AI/ML knowledge to develop novel AI solutions in cloud or on-premises environments. Work with statistical analysis, machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and text representation techniques.

· Design, implement, and optimize algorithms and models for various applications employing supervised, self-supervised, semi-supervised, or unsupervised learning.

· Familiar with AI/ML algorithm framework, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, to develop cutting-edge generative AI/ML solutions.

· Collaborate with our partners and engineers to apply research findings to real-world problems and product development.

· Communicating regularly with supervisor and Research leads on scientifical progress, insight and research direction.

· Develop prototypes of AI/ML solutions to solve real business and engineering problems in the areas of optimal building control and human wellbeing improvement.

What you need

· PhD or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics,

· Engineering, or related technical field.

· 2-4 years of experience in research and development, specifically in one or more of

· the following areas:

· Experience with deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch or Tensorflow and machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn.

· Generative AI, specifically in generating synthetic data.

· Large vision language model (LVLM), Embodied AI.

· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or C/C++. Experience

with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, and/ or PyTorch.

· Experience with any cloud computing platform and/or IoT systems is preferred

· Demonstrate an analytical mindset with adept problem-solving skills.

· Stay abreast of the latest research developments in AI through literature review,

attending conferences, and tech-sharing sessions with fellow team members.
