To improve the New Product Development process, TE is expanding our Artificial Intelligence capabilities as a part of our Digitalization strategy to improve efficiency, decrease cost, and decrease time to market.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the AI team that deliver high quality data science solutions and AI/ML infrastructure to support new product development (NPD) in TE
• Lead the team to adopt cutting-edge data science techniques (using in-house coding tools or commercial software) and develop machine learning algorithms to solve engineering problems (such as material formulation, manufacturing process, product design, etc.) based on experimental and simulation data sets.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline specialists in data science, electronics, material science, mechanics, additive manufacturing, and other fields.
• Work with local and global TE sites, and external customers/vendors, to address urgent or strategic needs.
• Partner with Singapore research institutes and universities to develop advanced AI techniques.
• Develop and execute the roadmap and strategy of AI
• Manage portfolio of projects to drive completion of tasks and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results that reduce cost, speed time to market and increase quality.
• Enhance the awareness across TE of the AI capabilities of the Singapore AI Hub and promote the democratization of AI in TE at the enterprise scale.

Job Requirements:

Required:

• Proven track record of team management and technical leadership
• Proven experience of solving engineering problems with AI, data science and machine learning
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering (or related discipline) with 10 years working experience in product development or R&D
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, and ability to delegate where appropriate and keep resources aligned with critical priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills with interpersonal skills to work with multiple level and multi-discipline stake holders.
• Project management expertise, PMP Certification Preferred

Preferred:

• Familiarity with product design, material development and Additive Manufacturing
• Knowledge of TE’s business, products, material, and manufacturing processes (molding, extrusion, plating, stamping, assembly etc.)
• Broad knowledge of polymer and metal material properties (mechanical, electric, thermal etc.)
• Hands-on experience of data science and machine learning algorithms involving multiple data types
• Programming skill in Python, C++, Java or similar languages

• Design and create visually stunning PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate ideas and data.
• Develop compelling infographics that simplify complex concepts and data points.
• Create innovative 3D designs that provide immersive and interactive experiences.
• Design attention-grabbing posters for various campaigns and events.
• Collaborate with content creators, and project teams to understand design requirements and deliver solutions that meet objectives.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:-

• Proven experience in designing impactful PowerPoint presentations, infographics, 3D designs, and posters.
• Proficiency in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), PowerPoint, and 3D modelling tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, layout, and typography.
• Ability to transform ideas and concepts into visually compelling designs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Candidate must be a team player as well as be able to work independently.

Your team:

You’ll be working in the ASEAN Research Team, based in either of the following locations: Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok or KL. The primary focus is to identify well researched, original and actionable investment ideas in the respective markets, and to communicate them to the Company's clients globally.

Your expertise:

– a good handle on accounting, including reviewing and interpreting annual reports and financial statements

– 1-3 years of experience in equity research, investment banking or accounting background.

– solid know-how of Microsoft Excel

– basic knowledge of coding and ability to scrape and analyze data

– ability to develop client relationships

– inquisitive, organized and able to work independently

– fluency in English, while speaking another language in SE Asia will be an advantage

– an excellent communicator, able to educate through the creation of innovative reports and presentations (you love this stuff, and it shows)

THE JOB:

• Conduct consumer and product research both qualitative and quantitative including developing protocols, monitoring field work, data analysis and interpretation of results
• Prepare reporting/presenting research findings, contributing to the decision-making process.
• Contribute to CS team goals by participating on teams where new methodologies and capability are evaluated, proposed, and implemented.
• Ensure two-way communication between yourself and other team members

The Requirements:

• Min Degree in food science /market or product research or related area with 5+ work experience in consumer and sensory research
• Knowledge of Discrimination, Descriptive Analysis & Digital tools and techniques
• Interest in food
• Data analysis
• Project management experience
