Responsibilities

The Research Engineer will plan and conduct experiments with the aim of understanding RNA modifications' roles in human disease and leveraging RNA-modifying enzymes as potential drug discovery targets. The National University of Singapore (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine is recruiting talented scholars at multiple levels: Post-doctoral Fellows, Senior Research Fellows and Research Scientists to work in the Global Centre of Asian Women’s Health (www.glownus.org) and the NUS Bia-Echo Asia Centre for Reproductive Longevity and Equality (www.acrle.com). • Develop machine-learning and deep-learning solutions to address current clinical challenges, including segmentation, detection, and prediction, through the use of large-scale medical/ophthalmic images and data from state-of-the-art clinical platforms
• Perform research in medical image processing and develop novel approaches to multimodal imaging (2D and 3D) using imaging systems ranging from current clinical systems to novel imaging prototypes
