The successful applicant will join an expanding team to work on projects in the field of Chronic Disease Management and Psychosocial Rehabilitation. He/She will be working with an interdisciplinary research team based at the Lee Kong Chiang School of Medicine NTU, and the primary research involves an intervention study that develops and test the efficacy of a holistic health coaching programme to support individuals with high risk of cardiovascular disease. The project is to conduct research on how the acoustic environment of a room affects and facilitates teaching pedagogy. This postdoctoral position is focused on the development of a novel 3D-printed bone implant utilizing natural. One postdoc position is available at the Surface and Interface Lab in Prof. CHEN WEI’s group, National University of Singapore. The successful candidate will work with Prof CHEN Wei on Interface Engineering for artificial neuromorphic electronics under a project on “Interface Controlled 2D Devices and Solid-State Batteries".

This project aims to advance the field of photon-modulated organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs), with a particular focus on photon-modulated electrochemical doping systems for flexible OECTs. This research is critical for advancing OECT-based circuits in bioelectronics, wearable electronics, and artificial neuromorphic electronics (e.g., optoelectronic synapses). A postdoctoral researcher is sought to contribute to this cutting-edge research, which lies at the intersection of organic semiconductors, materials science, and electrochemistry. The successful candidate will engage in the synthesis of channel-layer materials, the investigation of photoresponsive mechanisms and interfacial electrochemical processes, as well as the development of flexible organic optoelectronic synapses for applications in physiological signal monitoring and related fields.

Qualifications / Discipline:

- The candidates shall obtain PhD or submit PhD thesis in Chemistry or Materials in a research intensive and renowned University or Research Institute. The candidate shall publish a few papers on top journals.

The successful candidate will lead projects that focus on obtaining a detailed molecular mechanistic understanding of microbial biofilm development, and microbe-microbe interactions, in settings relevant to food spoilage and the food chain. The selected candidate will work independently, with other team members, and with collaborators to perform both in vivo and in vitro experiments to address specific scientific questions related to biofilm development/community interactions in these settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• To plan, perform and document laboratory experiments to study biofilm development and community interactions.

Senior Testing Engineer

As part of IME’s Photonics & Sensors Department, the candidate will take lead for the development of various testing capability for advanced photonics, including but not limited to chip-level and wafer-level testing of optical devices and electro-optical devices. You will work closely with an excellent multidisciplinary team working on advanced photonics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop various photonics testing capabilities for both chips and wafers, including design and building of measurement setups
• Optimize data acquisition and analysis process to improve test efficiency, e.g. automation of measurement processes for wafer-scale testing and corner analysis
