Main responsibilities
Service Orientation
§ Maintains and builds strong relationships with Partners and Lawyers in Office/Country, the Information & Research Manager (Country), Regional I&R Lead, regional Expert functions (Information Product Lead/Manager and Research Lead/Manager), Knowledge Lawyers and with the center-based I&R teams, as well as with external suppliers for local information resources
§ Demonstrates value through effective communication with stakeholders and key relationships
Knowledge & Expertise
§ Responds to research enquiries requiring in-market expertise for research, information or initial current awareness set-up as applicable. Manages and coordinates the referral of local enquiries to the appropriate Service Centre.
§ Understands and promotes the role and functionality of the firm's research, content and information repositories and resources.
§ Develops information alerts and newsletters to provide legal and regulatory updates.
§ Ensures and facilitates timely access to relevant legal information and research resources to support lawyers providing advice to clients
§ Manages the procurement of local information resources in alignment with Information Product Management policies and in consultation with the Information Product Management Lead/Regional I&R Lead. Manages the relationship with local external information vendors
§ Assists with delivery of I&R resource training support, as well as Knowledge resource training support where relevant. Assists with developing and running training plans and programmes for lawyers, BDMC and in-market staff as required.
§ Uses information and research platforms and technology (e.g. InfoNgen, GLMS) effectively and understands their capabilities (e.g. modules) and functionalities. Able to offer guidance to users when using information and research platforms.
§ Working with the Information & Research Manager (Country) and Research Lead/Business Research Manager, liaises with internal clients to learn about their business focus and information needs

§ Collaborative, supportive, team player working with other in-market Librarians and the wider Knowledge community

Work Management
§ Supports and participates in the adoption and use of Knowledge and I&R systems
§ Participates in and leads projects as requested
§ Aware of and participates in firm's goals. Participates in setting and aligning Library team goals with PG goals, managing resources, and evaluating use. Reports on usage and space management
Requirements
- Relevant undergraduate degree
- Good relevant experience with strong experience of Knowledge, information and research in professional services environment
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, build strong relationship virtually, communicate effectively, comfortable working in large, complex environment, highly credible and persuasive
- Strong people management and organizational skills; ability to prioritise and manage people's time to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and sense of urgency in setting strategies and executing against the objectives
- Proven ability to influence, interact and consult with senior leaders, strong collaboration skills and effective stakeholder management
- Strong communication skills, and highly credible presentation skills
- Comprehension of a diverse set of knowledge and information resources
