We are looking for a full-time pre-doctoral student to work as a Research Associate on INSEAD’s Singapore campus. This position is ideal for recent Master’s graduates looking to develop their research skills, with a view of applying to a PhD program. TASKS:

• Assist with quantitative research projects in the areas of strategy and management.
• Extract data from conventional databases (e.g., CRSP, Compustat, etc.) or hand-collect and clean data from company documents for analysis.

Preliminary data of the lab has shown a differential adaptive immune response polarization between two alphaviruses and identified, via in vivo comparative multiOmic approaches, a set of candidate host factors potentially responsible for the phenotype. The project will entail a close characterization of these host factors and their role in the viral life cycle as well as the modulation of the immune response of small animal model to these viruses. In addition to multi-Omics approaches (including single-cell and spatial), protein-protein interactions, microscopy, functional genomics, viral reverse genetics and CRISPR Cas9 gene editing will be some of the tools used to investigate this viral hijacking and understand the host-viral interplay. Animals models available in the lab include mice and zebrafish. Downstream of characterization will aim to validate these targets in small preclinical models for subsequent drug discovery in the A*STAR ecosystem. We are seeking one or more highly motivated and creative postdoctoral researchers to join our dynamic team at the Synthetic Biology for Clinical and Technological Innovation (SynCTI), Synthetic Biology Translational Research Programme, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and the National Centre for Engineering Biology (NCEB).

Chronic unresolved inflammation is a key pathogenic feature of prevalent inflammatory disorders and related syndromes that together are predicted to affect close to 60 million people with an annual cost of $90B. As such, the global anti-inflammatory therapeutic market is in urgent need for new targets for therapeutic intervention.

The Ho lab at Duke-NUS is building a platform to mine the human genome for novel determinants of the inflammatory response. We are seeking an experienced researcher who will participate and drive the execution of this platform in collaboration with other senior members of the team. The selected candidate will be expected to work at the bench as well as manage some aspects of the project such as administration of documentation required for smooth operations. Successful completion of the project will lead to opportunities for transition to industry roles. The Duke-NUS Laboratory for Translational and Molecular Imaging (LTMI), Duke-NUS Medical School, is recruiting a Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow specialising in Nuclear Imaging within the Immuno-Oncology domain.

The successful candidate will lead pre-clinical imaging efforts to validate novel imaging probes that target immune cell biomarkers. He/She will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution and communication of research. • Lead development of nude, syngeneic, and humanised mouse tumour models, with characterisation of immunophenotype with treatment response
