Purpose of the post

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Coordinate the submission of new ethics applications, study amendments and annual reports.

The Department of Diagnostic Imaging (DDI) is the clinical service department in the National University Hospital (NUH). With the formation of the National University Health System (NUHS), both clinical and academic departments come under a common governing structure. NUHS was incorporated on 23 January 2008 to integrate education, research and clinical care.

Purpose of the post

The PI lab aims to develop in vitro diagnostics, in vivo imaging and nanobiotechnology with emphasis on molecular imaging tools and drug and gene delivery techniques. The Visiting Research Fellows will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and the team members to undertake independent and/or collaborative research and to lead on aspects of research strategy within the lab.

Main duties and responsibilities

The Visiting Research Fellow will be able to:

1. Independently undertake advanced research in the relevant discipline area using, or developing, the appropriate methods and/or techniques;
2. Qualifications

Ability to design and perform scientific work independently and collaboratively is a must, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience with chemistry and radiochemistry, cell culture, animal handling, small animal imaging, and translational research is highly preferred but not required. Motivation and drive to work hard and learn new skills are most important.
