Summary
AIM Biotech is an organ-on-a-chip company that builds next generation in vitro humanized models for research, drug discovery and personalized medicine. In this role, you will be working within our R&D team to support the development of new applications for AIM’s 3D cell culture platform and the fulfillment of our contract research services. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply the cutting-edge 3D cell culture technology for gaining novel insights in various exciting areas including immuno-oncology and neuroscience.
Responsibilities
· Design and execute experiments in the laboratory as part of the efforts in developing new organotypic assays and disease models
· Collect and analyze experimental data
· Contribute to the preparation and writing of protocols, white papers, reports and other research-related materials
· Maintain equipment and assist in procuring laboratory supplies
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, bioengineering or related field
· Professional experience in a laboratory setting is highly valued
· Experience in handling mammalian cell cultures
· Hands-on experience with different downstream analyses including but not limited to qPCR, immunoassays (ELISA, Luminex), flow cytometry and immunofluorescence microscopy (confocal) is a plus
· Self-motivated to learn new techniques and embrace new challenges in a fast-paced working environment
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· A team player who also enjoys working independently
