• Monitor daily service request and initiates follow-up action. Ensures the Duty Manager on the next shift is informed when follow up is required.
• Monitor operations to ensure performance standards are met.
• Conduct daily briefing & ensure proper communication & coordination b/w different functions
• Run Performance Dialogs within Ops teams
• Control outsourced FTEs to optimize productivity
• Regularly coordinate equipment checks to initiate proactive maintenance in cases of potential failure
• Enforce the shipment & facility security measures and controls (x-rays, security guards, dangerous goods) in accordance with TAPA, airport security, airline and Global SOP requirements
• Monitor ULD loading to maximize utilization.
• Develop a high performance service culture within the functional department. Plan, organize and direct and efficient and effective functional department.
• Develop IKOs with team members and monitor individual performance.
• Conduct performance appraisal.
• Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets.
• Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.

Responsibilities:

• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Must be able to work shift
• At Least 5 - 8 years & above Operations experience, preferably within transportation
• A must to have experience leading a team of front line agents
• Diploma / Degree or equivalent
