Key Responsibilities:

SOP Development & Implementation:

• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for hazardous waste management and ensure compliance across all assigned sites.

• Manage budgets for hazardous waste operations, ensuring costs remain within defined limits.

• Ensure compliance with all Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and hazardous waste management standards across all assigned sites.

Operational Efficiency & Improvement:

• Continuously review operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, service delivery, and compliance.

Summary:

Under the supervision of General Manager, the Operations Manager oversees pest management operations. He is expected to manage multiple sites or projects concurrently as assigned. He is responsible for the overall planning, deployment and management of resources of the assigned projects. Manage teams and incidents

• Manage capability development of staff. Analyze and manage incidents and emergencies at work site. Manage and report work-related incident and emergency investigations.

Others

• Participate in tender interviews, customer’s meetings and/or marketing presentations to potential clients to showcase technical capability and experience.
• Attend to other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Setup sound, light, and video systems for events (both at Singapore EXPO and external venue), ensuring proper configuration and functionality.
• Conduct thorough pre-checks to ensure sound, light, and video systems and logistical requirements for all events are met.
• Standby and manning of sound, light, and video systems for rehearsals and during event days.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during events.
• Recover and account for all AV equipment after events, ensuring proper storage and handling.
• Perform periodic maintenance on sound, light, and video equipment to maintain optimal performance.
• Assist in annual stock-takes of all AV equipment and update inventory records accurately.
• Prepare event directional and digital room signage according to event requirements.
• Prepare car park and cleaning work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform daily inspections to ensure meeting rooms are ready for use.
• Conduct joint inspections with event organizers for handover and takeover of venue spaces.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations and Administration:

• Assist with the full spectrum of HR operations and administrative tasks.
• Support office management and procurement of supplies such as stationery and pantry items.
• Assist in onboarding new employees, including the issuance of uniforms and management of uniform inventory records.
• Support offboarding processes, including work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, flight ticket bookings, and ensuring that employees complete all exit formalities in line with MOM and dormitory guidelines.

Payroll:

• Enter payroll transactions and related data, ensuring appropriate adjustments to wage/salary accounts as needed.
• Prepare and submit IR21 tax clearance and yearly IR8A filings, ensuring the confidentiality of all salary-related information.
• Recommend or participate in developing new payroll-related procedures and policies; assist with implementing changes within the payroll system.
• Assist with preparing increment letters and salary-related documents as part of the HR operations.

Job Requirements:

• At least 4-6 years of relevant working experience in the environmental industry or a related field.
