Responsibilities:

• Act as a media between treasury and bank line in funds arrangement and L/C document preparation, discounting, etc
• Work closely with relevant party, i.e. Traders and Shanghai Team, etc, to ensure the trading flow and process smoothly
• Handle document operation for shipments
• Promptly perform data entries into system on trade information
• Assist China colleagues on documentary submission to bank for negotiations
• Solve issues relating to clients post deal confirmation till finalization of shipment
• Support senior operation in handling sea or land logistics booking, co-ordination and payment checks.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks, and assist colleagues as and when required

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in relevant field
• Entry level candidates welcomed to apply
• Initiative to creatively problem solve in difficult situations
• Proficient organiser
• Proven multi-tasker
• Good team-player
• Proficient in English and Chinese (both spoken and written) to handle queries from China’s associates
• Knowledge in Microsoft Words, Excel, power-point, etc
