JOB MISSION

The mission of the Project Manager is to provide full support to the OM by managing a project portfolio ranging from $1,500,000 to $3,000,000 in project value. Project managers are responsible for the entire project lifecycle from budgeting through job completion and after care.

DUTIES

Assists and supports OM by:

• Delivers completed projects to our clients.
• Develops a relationship with the decision makers of customers.
• Present a professional image of company when speaking to customers.
• Maintains current job plans and specifications.
• Manages project designs.
• Maintains construction schedule and coordinates scheduling with other trades.
• Maintains all records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records and prepares reports for internal and external use.
• Manages job costs.
• Forecasts future costs.
• Reports on project costs and invoices.
• Manages installation labour and contracted partners.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or construction management.
• Completion of CSPM certification from the Security Industry Association – within the first six months of hire.
• Five years of project management experience from conception to delivery.
• With Data Center project experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute preferred

Review electrical engineering drawings and refer issues requiring changes.

Assign job tasks and work as per electrical project schedules.

Review all electrical drawings with Leadmen performing on assigned jobs to them.

Stimulate fabrication standards to ensure quality work attained from assigned staff.

Recruit, guide, train, monitor and terminate assigned employees as required.

Schedule, assign, plan and supervise electrical shop personnel performance on different electrical projects.

Get to know the Role:

An Assistant Project Manager (APM) assists the PM in his role, collaborates with the Quantity Surveyor, Site Engineers and Supervisors in planning, budgeting, allocating resources, and providing timely completion of the project. They also ensure that the project is completed within the set budget and is within the scope to the expected high quality and results.

• Accountable for the overall implementation and completion of projects within projected time, cost and quality
• Lead and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to determine the specifications of the project, planning and execution of day-to-day operations on site
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities, and ensure that the sites comply with all regulations, e.g.: MOM, NEA, HDB, etc.
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• Supervise the work of the project team and provide the necessary guidance, or resolve issues and conflicts swiftly
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports for the management in a timely manner
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues

The Must-haves:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university, e.g.: PEB, BCA, SIA, etc.
• Proficient knowledge in building and construction works with detailed knowledge for building processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Projects/Primavera P6 or other relevant construction software
• Min 1-2 years experience in construction project management
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Good planning and time management skills
• A dynamic, positive and forward-thinking personality with the ability to work under time pressure and remain calm in a fast-paced environment

The Nice-to-haves:

• Use of AutoCad, BIM, etc.
• PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
• Excellent client-facing communication skills

• To communicate assigned cleaning duties to the cleaning team.
• To ensure teams adhere to safety measures during cleaning operations.
• To supervise, coordinate and manage work activities of cleaning staff.
• To assist the cleaning staff in resolving working issues with clients.
• To implement operation plans to improve work processes and service quality.
• To attend site meetings with operation team.
• To assist in coordinating and liaising with clients at project sites.
• To respond to emergency calls while on duty and off duty (standby 24/7)
• To perform other ad hoc as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Development of new clientele.
• Participate in strategic initiatives and new business development initiatives.
• Responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns.
• Manage and coordinate with respective site Business Development Managers to grow revenue for the whole group.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, business management, marketing, or communications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Precision Engineering industry
• Strong knowledge of marketing tools, channels, and best practices
• Experience in managing online marketing platforms.
• Good interpersonal and strong communication skills
• Excellent analytical and project management skills
• Candidate able to speak Japanese will be an added advantage (to liaise with Japanese speaking associates).

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Develop and execute trade marketing plans for the frozen food products,including promotional activities,pricing strategies and product positioning
• Manage import, export activities to meet high customer service level and response standards
• Manage the sourcing and distributionof frozen food products,including negotiating prices,packaging and delivery methods
• Direct the work flow of meat cutters and meat/seafood clerks while ensuring product produced meets company standards
• Follow and comply with all organic standards procedures as they relate to cutting, preparing, displaying and storing meat products
• Implement promotional events and marketing blitzes to promote special deals from vendors and meet sales goals on featured items
• Monitoring food safety requirements for meat storage and handling
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including food safety and quality standards
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with key customers and suppliers
• Receive, examine, and record products for correctness of consignment, temperature, and quality
• Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
• Oversee the budget for trade marketing activities, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, wholesale brand consumer
• Experiences in wholesale/retail packaging (frozen meat manufacturing) experience preferred
• Willing to do rotating shift work. Must work on weekends/PH. (Strictly off on week days)
• Able to work longer hours with prolonged period of standing.
• Must have knowledge to control storage room temperatures for frozen products
• Familiar with food handling and handling process
• Able to withstand pungent smell of meat/livestock working environment
• Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines when required
• 2A/2B/ Class 3 compulsory. Preferably posses own transport. (Required to travel from time to time)
• Understanding of shipping operations (import and export)
• Able to multi-task, meet timeline and work under pressure
• Possess good communication & time management skills
