JOB SUMMARY :

To manage, lead and oversee all aspects of daily operations for all manufacturing, manufacturing support and administrative functions needed to support shipyard operations. Responsibilities include, project execution including maintaining quality standards, cost effectiveness and time management to ensure projects are on time and within budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY :

1. Manage team and provides supervision to supervisors and foremen.

7. Determines plant improvements and repairs along with costs and schedules.

8. Ensures product quality control goals are met and maintained as per the shipyard policies.

REQUIREMENTS :

1. Minimum 12 years’ experience in managerial role or other management level responsibilities in a shipyard environment.

2. In depth knowledge of all business functions associated with shipyard management.

3. Ability to understand and administer Classification guidelines

4. Ability to apply Continuous Improvement strategies across all functions.

• Manage asset enhancement initiatives for existing properties and new projects under development
• Allocate manpower resources effectively to ensure optimal utilisation of resources
• Work with relevant external Government agencies, service providers and contractors to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Building, Real Estate or Business
• Minimum 8 years' experience in property and/or tenant management
• Strong leadership skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Resourceful, energetic and passionate to drive initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards.
• Manage and train front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams, fostering teamwork and efficiency.
• Monitor and optimize operational performance, focusing on customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Develop and implement SOPs to maintain high service and food quality standards.
• Handle staff scheduling, recruitment, and onboarding processes.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Liaise with suppliers to maintain inventory and control costs effectively.
• Address customer feedback professionally and implement improvements.
• Plan and execute promotional activities to boost sales and brand visibility.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role within the F&B industry, preferably in hotpot or Chinese cuisine.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with local health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
• Bilingual in english and mandarin to liaise with mandarin speaking counterparts
• Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and achieving sales targets.
