Job Description:

• Responsible for performing Credit Appraisal of Trade Finance Accounts, Retail loans/Syndicated/Bilateral loans.
• Responsible for all Credit administration related function pertaining to trade finance advances, retail loans, Syndicated/ Bilateral loans including
• Post sanction monitoring of corporate and retail credit accounts including verification of sanction notes and related documents before disbursal.
• Maintenance and safe custody of Credit file/ loan documents/ security documents etc.
• Monitoring of the credit portfolios to ensure prompt pre-emptive action so as to maintain quality of assets.
• Analyse financial statement of borrowal accounts for deviation with the sanction proposal.
• Ensure compliance of Loan Grading and provisioning as per MAS/RBI guidelines, whichever is more stringent.
• Monitoring of Early Warning Signal (EWS) and analysis of the alerts received with specific views and the impact on the credit quality of the loan.
• Follow up with the borrower/ Agent for regularisation of irregular loans as well as stressed assets for early resolution.
• Make unit visits as per terms of sanction.
• Follow up for compliance of other terms and conditions as per terms of sanction/Facility Agreement and perfection of security.
• Verification/Authorization financial payment messages and non-financial messages through Finacle.
• Follow-up on roll over notices, interest advice to borrowers and other lenders/participating branches
• Correspondence with borrowers/agents through email or phone calls for their confirmation on payment due or on clarification of various issues relating to different clauses of facility agreement, interest periods, compliance certificate etc.
• Preparation of regulatory returns (MAS, RBI) at stipulated intervals.
• Preparation of various returns and internal reports (including adhoc and miscellaneous reports for top management)
• Attending to Internal and External Audits and ensure rectification of deficiencies pointed out.
• Follow-up for submission of periodic financials and compliance certificates.
• Attending to credit related queries from regulators.
• Work closely with Senior Management to provide views and recommendations on market trends and conditions.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent preferably in the field of Banking and finance
• Banking experience of a minimum of 5 years in related field.
• Good understanding of financial statements
• Sound knowledge of banking systems/processes/procedures.
• Good management skills and analytical mindset, one who can effectively analyse a situation and make decisions to address issues/problem.

Position Overview: The Senior Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution and optimization of multiple renewable energy projects across various regions. This position requires expertise in project planning, operational efficiency, and resource management to deliver projects on time and within budgets. The SOM will harmonize workflows, streamline subcontractor activities, and ensure cost-effective procurement to create economies of scale. As a member of the Management Team, the SOM will provide critical insights on financial performance, risk management, and operational improvements. Key Responsibilities:

(i) Master Project Planning and Oversight:

Develop and manage a Master Gantt chart for projects across business verticals. Develop and/or use existing tools and methods to optimize cost, time, and quality while aligning engineering, procurement, and construction phases across countries. Consolidate purchasing needs for economies of scale, resolve scheduling conflicts, and address resource bottlenecks. Track milestones and provide progress updates to the Management Team.

(ii) Workflow & Process Optimization:

Identify and address inefficiencies at project and SPV levels and implement improvements through harmonised procedures. Introduce automation tools to enhance monitoring and performance. Establish KPIs to track efficiency and synergies, and collaborate with department heads to incorporate best practices for productivity and teamwork.

(iii) HR Resource Allocation:

Coordinate with departments to forecast and allocate personnel for project execution and SPV operations, adjusting staffing based on project phases. Monitor performance, address skill gaps, and optimize team assignments by working with and through heads of departments.

(iv) Subcontractor Harmonization:

Establish performance benchmarks and enforce standards across regions and asset types. Monitor regional labour costs and maintain country-specific contractor charges. Standardize construction activities, develop a robust contractor database, and implement a safety program compliant with ISO, OSHA, and other certifications.

(v) Cash Flow & Financial Planning:

Create portfolio-level cash flow forecasts, accounting for schedules, material purchases, and labour costs. Monitor expenditures against budgets, adjust plans as necessary, and provide financial updates to the Management Team, highlighting risks. Develop contingency strategies to manage cost overruns effectively.

(vi) Risk Identification & Mitigation:

Identify and monitor portfolio-level risks, such as resource shortages, supply chain and logistics issues and regulatory challenges, and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Ensure compliance with local laws and industry standards to minimize legal and operational risks.

Reporting:

The Senior Operations Manager reports directly to the CEO and attends weekly Group Management Team Meetings.

Competences & Capabilities:

· Master’s degree in engineering, industrial-business administration, or a related field, preferably combining engineering with business.

· Minimum 10 years in the renewable energy sector, with at least 5 years in a senior role, preferably in the Asia-Pacific region.

· Experience in managing construction and/or renewable energy projects in challenging environments.

· Strong in budget management, financial analysis, and strategic operations planning.

· PMP Certification, Six Sigma, and Operations Excellence/Safety Management certifications.
