The Technology Operations Executive is responsible for maintaining and managing critical systems, ensuring 24/7 service availability.
Responsibilities:
1. Batch Service Management
· Oversee daily batch processing on mainframe and distributed systems
· Monitor job failures and coordinate with Application Teams on the resolution Maintain operational logs and documentation
2. System Maintenance
· Perform regular backups for DB2, DBC, and AS400 systems
· Monitor mainframe systems, job queues, and performance metrics
· Diagnose and resolve hardware issues and system errors
3. Data Centre Operations
· Monitor facility systems and manage access control
· Ensure compliance with security policies
· Manage server rack key distribution and collection
4. Disaster Recovery
· Participate in system maintenance and disaster recovery tests
· Execute recovery procedures as needed
Requirements:
· Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
· Able to work from Data Centre in Singapore to access the equipment required to perform the duties
· Relevant working experience in IT operations, job scheduling
· Experience with mainframe systems, particularly IBM Workload Scheduler
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills
· Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment
· Ability to perform 12-hour shift duty including nights, weekends, and holidays.
