OVERVIEW:

The Operations Director is overall responsible for overseeing the successful running of the Domestic / Cross Border Transport Operations of the company, which includes Air and Ocean Freight operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

· Provide leadership & decision making to the operations departments

· Setting of goals & objectives for operations and product to achieve annual volume growth targets in conjunction with sales and participates in company marketing and sales efforts

· Manage the integration & implementation of new structures developed in operations

· Manage resources including tackling staff performance issues and identification of training needs, reviewing productivity and local recruitment

· Ensure all transports are carried out within predetermined cost and security standards and perform annual service and cost reviews to ensure we meet market requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· A Diploma / Advance Diploma / BSc. degree in business and supply chain preferred or their equivalent.
