Basic Purpose/Accountabilities:

Reporting to the Director, Data Commerncial, the Data Team Analyst, Commercial supports the Market Analysts, Strategists and Traders by developing and maintaining data pipelines and visualizations for everyday use. In addition, this position will support ad-hoc requests from Senior Management, various Commercial groups, the Chief Economist’s Office, and Investor Relations. The analyst will primarily utilize tools such as Databricks, Data Factory, and Power BI to develop meaningful insights into the data; while developing a strong understanding of commodity pricing, seasonality, and supply and demand drivers related to energy markets.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Providing market analytical support for Commercial by developing, implementing, and supporting tools and analyses that improve the efficiency and consistency of information communicated across the global Commercial organization.

Scope of Work

Work in the development team to:

• Maintain and enhance the application which includes implementing new enhancements to the applications, troubleshoot live issues to identify causes of the problems, and providing workable solutions to fix the issues.
