Job Summary:

The Product Costing Analyst is responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on product costs to support pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and financial planning. Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Analysis:

- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between standard and actual costs.

2. Costing Methodologies:

4. Reporting:
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports and analyses to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to product costs.

5. Cost Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements within the product costing framework.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost accounting and product costing.

6. Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations related to cost accounting.
- Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation related to product costs.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, product costing, or financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or product-based environment.

The Role

The Senior Open Source Intelligence Analyst will conduct research and provide intelligence to the Threat Assessment Management Services (TAMs) in a timely manner to support the investigation and mitigation of threatening incidents or behaviours.
