Get to know the Role:

• We are seeking security engineers who are excited about shaping the future of information security by building security tools to identify and eradicate vulnerabilities across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Our team covers line one control ownership of multiple domains, including cloud, DevSecOps, privileged access management, runtime, containers, kubernetes, cryptography, SaaS security and automated response.
• You will work on a public cloud security program with an aim of real-time vulnerability identification and automatic remediation.
• You will work with public cloud, terraform, commercial cloud posture security management tools, open-source kubernetes admission controllers (Kyverno) and build tools that automate our security posture.

The day-to-day activities:

• Design and implement cutting edge preventative and detective controls
• Shift security left in the engineering life-cycle by implementing commercial, security tools and scanners.
• Collaborate with experienced security engineers and engineering squad leads to research and build solutions geared towards identifying security issues at scale
• Evaluate/extend/contribute to existing open-source security tools and integrate them into pipelines.
• Constantly evaluate our progress and work on solutions to raise our security bar at scale. You understand that security is a continuous, ever evolving process.
• Design and implement cutting edge security tools and scanners, including static application security testing (SAST) and dynamic application security testing (DAST).
• Design and implement an automated security scanning solution for cloud infrastructure as code, experience using Sentinel policies for Terraform is preferred.

The must-haves:

• An understanding of public cloud security and cloud native security services is a plus
• An understanding of common global and industry standard control frameworks (CIS, NIST800-53, PCI-DSS)
• Should have relevant experience of 4 to 5 years
• Experience with scripting/programming security automation. While you do not need to be a full time programmer, we do strive for automation and are required to glue a lot of our processes together. Go, Python, etc.

• We are seeking a lead security engineer who can drive security strategy and initiatives from 0 to 1. This could be across a wide range of domains covering identity, application security, cloud, DevSecOps, or detection engineering. We are open to security engineers with deep skills in one or more of these domains.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Implement security operations strategy

Main Responsibilities:

• The Criminal Fraud Investigator (CFI) is embedded in the Consular Section and works under the direct supervision of the Assistant Regional Security Officer- Investigator (ARSO-I).
• The incumbent conducts sensitive, routine, and complex criminal investigations of counterfeit/forged travel documents, human trafficking, and smuggling, U.S. fugitive extraditions, identity theft, bribery, extortion, conspiracy, misrepresentation, malfeasance, and terrorist travel.
• To facilitate these investigations, the incumbent builds relationships with contacts of all levels throughout the region to include but not limited to relationships with the respective police forces, immigration agencies, airport security, and prosecutors’ offices, etc.
• The incumbent is also responsible for working level liaison with U.S. law enforcement agencies and U.S. attorney’s offices throughout the United States and its territories. Incumbent may also manage non-RSO Locally Engaged Staff (LE Staff) when they are involved in supporting criminal investigations within the DSS purview as well as fulfilling interagency requests for investigative support that perpetuate national security interests.

Position Summary:

The Security Engineer supports security systems and operations administration, monitoring and maintenance. He/She monitors security alerts and events.

He/She assists with the analysis of security-related information and events, escalation of incidents for validation and remediation.

He/She is required to be on standby with on-call availability with varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Role and Responsibilities:

• To Configure, implement and maintain all security platforms (E.g. Firewall, Intrusion Prevention, Web Application Firewalls, Web Proxies, DNSSEC)
• Perform assessment of Security Advisories and provide recommendations to the team
• Ensure that all security devices are configured in accordance network security best practices
• Perform periodic vulnerability testing and ensure the remediation of all findings
• Perform regular review of security logs to identify potential operational/security issues

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering
• 5 years experience and knowledge in Enterprise IT infrastructure covering routing, switching, load balancers, data centre nexus/ACI and security devices
• Strong knowledge with Web proxy and CCNP is a must
• Experience working with automation tools (E.g. ansible), monitoring & observability and logging systems (E.g. ELK).
• Holding any of following professional certificate are preferable: CISSP, CISCO CCIE, PCNSE and ITILv4xtensive technical know-how of network security devices (E.g. Firewall, Intrusion Prevention, Web Application Firewalls, Web Proxies, DNSSEC)
• Hands-on experience in at least 2 of the security devices (E.g. Firewall, Intrusion Prevention, Web Application Firewalls, Web Proxies, DNSSEC)
• Strong problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues quickly.
• Strong technical skills in areas of systems engineering, systems administration, networking, and security.
• Proficient in at least one scripting languages (E.g. YAML, JSON, Bash)
• Excellent communication skills

Overall Summary:

Plan, design, develop and review infrastructure architectural solutions for on-prem/hybrid Cloud, throughout infrastructure lifecycles.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Architect and design scalable and secure IT infrastructure, primarily on-premise as well as leveraging on cloud technologies, that is resilient, highly available and secured.

• Develop infrastructure solutions to meet project requirements and establish roadmaps, patterns, principles, standards and guidelines for on-prem infrastructure, and document them in various formats, diagrams and templates

• Validate, review and verify infrastructure aspects of project solutions and technical specifications, based on alignment with mandated enterprise policies and standards

• Own and drive architectural deliverables, working in close collaboration with stakeholders including Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and vendors to achieve project outcomes and timelines from design to implementation.

• Assess new infrastructure technologies and participate in proof of concept, to assist in defining technology direction, roadmap, framework and policies to meet strategic business initiatives.

• Present, articulate and communicate deliverables including architecture related design, solutions, concepts, ideas and proposals to various stakeholders.

• Keep abreast of emerging trends and identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements / Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering / Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline

• At least 7 years’ proven experience in a similar role

• Strong and in-depth technical knowledge and experience in administering and maintaining infrastructure domain areas such as Operating Systems (e.g., VMware, Nutanix, Red Hat, Windows Server), Networking (e.g., SDN, Cisco), Security (e.g. Cisco, Palo Alto,CheckPoint, F5), Automation (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Terraform), Cloud, etc.

• Certifications in the above areas would be advantageous (e.g. CCIE, CISSP, VMware VCAP, Windows Certified Engineer, RedHat Certified Engineer, AWS Solution Architect, Azure Solution Architect, TOGAF)

• Possess good knowledge of networks and networking concepts

• Possess good knowledge of ITIL processes
