Principal Job Functions

1. Monitor developing cybersecurity events around the world, and escalate to L2 team if relevant events are observed

2. Performs monitoring, risk assessment and analysis on security tools such as Anomaly Detection systems, Firewalls, Antivirus systems, Proxy devices

3. Follow pre-defined actions to handle security alerts including escalating to L2 team and other support groups

4. Execute daily ad-hoc tasks or lead small projects as needed

5. Participate in daily and ad-hoc documentation related tasks

6. Create and maintain operational reports for Key Performance Indicators and weekly and Monthly Metrics

7. Perform assessment phase of Vulnerability & Threat Management process

8. Receive threat intelligence from feeds the Group subscribed to and update to Threat Intel knowledge base

9. Be ready to support any security incident response investigation in the Group regardless of location and environment

10. Work closely with Team Lead to review, provide feedback and take actions to improve the methodology use in the Security Operations

11. Responsible to ensure all tickets logged are closed correctly and timely

12. Ensure timely submission of routine reports on threats, vulnerabilities and incidents handled by the Security Operations Center

13. Keep the Security Operations Center runbooks and procedures updated

Recommended prerequisites:

1. 1+ years working in security operations, preferably with incident management experience

3. Familiar with security products and network devices

4. Extensive technical experience with network security practices including Intranet, Extranet and Internet access

6. Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, web, wireless security architectures and enterprise-grade security solutions

7. Knowledge of encryption and authentication methods such as 2FA, DES/AES/RSA, Digital Certificates, SSL/TLS, IPSec and development of DMZ’s

8. Knowledge of intrusion detection (deep TCP/IP knowledge, and cybersecurity), various operating systems (Windows/UNIX), and web technologies (especially internet security)

Primary Responsibilities:

Provision of Security

• The primary role of a Security Officer is to protect life and property against pandemic crisis, theft, vandalism, misappropriation, fire, flood or similar disaster on assigned shift in compliance with government, corporate and management directives.

Maintaining Law and Order

• Conducting an investigation of any suspicious activities that take place within the premises.

Job Description:

As part of our global cyber security initiatives, we are seeking a Cyber Security Lead based in our Singapore

Regional office to support the Asia region. Reporting to the UK based Group Manager of Cyber Governance

Risk and Compliance, with operational reporting to our Regional IT Director for Asia, the Regional Cyber

Security Lead will ensure the effective communication, implementation, and adherence to cyber security

policies and best practices across Asia. You will lead regional incident response efforts, help regional and

local teams implement security controls, provide assurance of control implementation, and ensure

compliance with organisational policies. This role requires collaboration with diverse stakeholders,

contributing to reporting and assurance activities for both regional and global teams. There will be a travel requirement associated with this role (around 20-30%) within Asia.

Key Accountabilities

Regional Expertise and Leadership

• Develop a deep understanding of the region and its unique country-level differences, staying informed on new technologies, regulatory changes, and industry best practices as you lead and oversee cyber security initiatives for the region.

Incident Response

• Develop and implement regional incident response plans, ensuring alignment with Group Policy and best practices.
• Lead regional incident response efforts, coordinating with local IT and security teams to ensure the effective handling of security incidents.
• Act as the primary liaison between Regional Teams and Group Cyber Security during major incidents which may involve engagement with local regulators.

Implementation of Security Best Practices

• Support local IT teams in implementing security good practices based on Group policies, NIST CSF 2.0 framework, and local regulatory requirements.
• Regularly review security controls and configurations, recommending improvements to strengthen the regions security posture.

Assurance and Compliance

• Lead assurance activities to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, controls, and operational procedures, conducting regular reviews and audits.
• Assist in ensuring the region meets all regulatory requirements related to cyber security.

Reporting and Metrics

• Develop and maintain key risk and performance indicators (KRIs and KPIs) as guided by Group Cyber Security to monitor the regions security programme.
• Contribute to group-level reports, providing insights into the region’s security posture for senior leadership.
• Provide the Asia Leadership Team with regular updates on cyber security progress at the school and regional levels

Summary

The Regional Director Security Operations (RDSO) is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team that executes a global security operations program for a multi-national IT organization. Services provided include security operations, safety, budget and financial execution, logistics, and employee recruitment, onboarding and training. The security operations program is comprised of regional security man-guarding functions, a security operations center, development and management of security operations metrics, branch liaison, personnel management and driving key security operations projects and initiatives for datacenters on a multi $100M global Client account. Direct reports may include field based Regional Security Managers, as well as shared services/program management resources to include Regional Operations Coordinator, Security Design PMOs and other Security Operations personnel. The RDSO is accountable for datacenter security operations service delivery, enhancing safety culture, driving innovation and process change across the program and staff engagement and development. Essential Functions

Cyber Security Specialist (VAPT)

Job Description

Architect, design, review and implement cyber security resilient in our product and projects. You are familiar with cloud security architectures and solutions, making sure the companies can operate in a safe, secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible in managing CyberSecurity VAPT, Vulnerability Assessment, Risk Management and Testing.
• Manage Network and Cloud Security Risk Assessment and Audit.
• Involved in handling Government Projects related to risk, security attacks and system solutions.
• Consultancy on software and hardware for security vulnerabilities and risks
• Plan VAPT, execution, result analysis and provide fix recommendation.
• Provide guideline such as coding, key management, hardening, patch management, backup management, incident management, etc.
• Familiar with IM8 requirements and CIS, NIST security benchmark, cyber security tools to perform preliminary scan.

Skills Required

• Strong in knowledge in CyberSecurity, Risk Assessment, VAPT, Vulnerability and Cloud Security.
• Strong in VAPT management.
• Technically incline in CyberSecurity, Cloud, Risk and Vulnerabilities.
• Possess knowledge of IM8 and Government projects experience is preferred.

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage the technical risk, security operation and SOC.
• Act as IT security expert for department in the areas of cyber security assessments, PAM, Database, WAF, Firewall and EPP/EDR.
