• As the Principal Audit Manager (PAM) for Technology – Corporate Banking (CB) and Investment Banking (IB) – APAC, you will report to the Chief Auditor (CA) for Technology – CB, IB, and Data, under the Head of Audit for TDI. Your key responsibilities:

Your skills and experience:

• Knowledge of IFRS 9 “Financial Instruments” with banking experience in with professional experience in the banking/insurance industry and related accounting (e.g. time deposit, intercompany loan, FX hedging, derivative, supply chain financing, cash pooling).
• Proficiency in both oral and written English.
• SAP or equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems experience is highly desirable.
• Experience leading transformation projects, process streamlining, and demonstrating ability of planning, prioritizing, and coordinating the team’s workload to ensure meeting critical deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process Expense Sheets and ensure that they are submitted and approved to finance timely
• Put up expense sheets for monthly payroll disbursement
• Perform quarterly AP SOA reconciliations
• Follow up outstanding AP invoice matter
• Posting of vendors’ invoices into the correct general ledger
• Prepare monthly Budget Vs Actual expenditure report
• Prepare propose list of vendors’ payment
• Updating of vendors’ payment
• Assist in replying enquires from vendors and internal service lines on payment matters
• Assist in month-end closing, year-end closing, quarterly GST returns and audits
• Any other ad hoc duties

Qualifications and requirements

• Minimally completed GCE ‘O’ Level Education
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience for the above duties and responsibilities stated, especially on processing of AP invoices and replying enquires from vendors on payment
• Must be meticulous and organized individual with a positive working attitude
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and guidance
• Strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet tight reporting deadlines
• Team player with the ability to perform in fast paced environment
• Ability to confidently articulate business matters to non-financial stakeholders
• Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, including Excel and Outlook
• Good knowledge of using Xero and TaBs software is an advantage

You should ideally have a degree or equivalent in Finance and/or Accounting with at least 3 years of handson experience in fixed assets/CAPEX. Added advantage if you are well versed in Excel (SUMIF, X/V Lookup). This is a newly created role, there are currently 7 people in the Finance team and they have a Shared Service function overseas. Office is in the Central of Singapore, flexible hybrid work arrangement - 2 to 3 days work in office.
