1. PRIMARY FUNCTION

Work closely with the General Manager for the daily operations, manpower management, marketing and sales and profitability of all outlets.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations

-Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures

-Responsible for staff rostering to ensure adequate manpower across outlets

-Influencing and decision making on aspects such as recruitment, discipline, termination of employment and performance assessment

-Perform outlet inspection at least once a week

-Ensure proper cash handling controls such as accurate daily cash reports, change funds and petty cash funds.

Marketing

-Monitor and track industry and market trends as well as consumer spending habits; develop and present action plans to achieve and/or exceed sales forecast

-Ensure smooth implementation of new products, promotions and other sales and marketing activities through proper planning, organization and coordination of activities.

-Maintain a record of each outlet’s sales trend before, during and after the launch of any marketing activity

-Serves as a quality controller for all signage, posters and decoration of the outlets to ensure that they are aligned with the company’s branding.

Recruitment

-Recruit employees through an objective selection and interview process

• Be the customer primary driver and advocate in fab; providing the one-stop interface for technical, commercial and logistics matters.
• Provide strategic directions in driving customer development plans and managing customer relationships
• Identify and materialize new business and other value-added opportunities according to Business Goals and requirements
• Responsible for the overall Sales plan and loading projections.
• Monitor overall Tapeout forecasts and ensure product portfolios can meet Business Goals and requirements
• Responsible for continuously improving customer relationships and customer expectations
• Negotiate with customer on risk production criteria and upside flexibility
• Work closely with relevant departments to meet customer’s requests/enquiries
• Communicate factory shortcomings fairly and timely to customers without jeopardizing customer’s relationship
• Champion continuous improvement programs to meet or exceed customer’s expectations
• Managing and motivating the section to maximize synergy and extracting maximum performance at the same time maintaining a healthy and balanced work environment.

Requirements

• MSc/Degree Microelectronics/ Electrical / Electronics Engineering , Physics or equivalent
• Preferably 4 to 8 years of experience in wafer fabrication environment
• Good interpersonal and communication /presentation skills
• Able to interact effectively with both external and internal customers at all levels
• Self motivated and resourceful with good Management and Negotiation skills
• Good Business acumen and sound decision making qualities

Minimum 3yrs working experience in travel and tourism industry

International tourism experience is an asset
