Duties & Responsibilities

1. The Assistant Manager shall play a key role in the conceptual development of the construction project and oversee the scheduling and coordination of sub-contractors across various trades

a) General

1. Maintain and update Crewing Calendar factoring projects and in-house needs and crew leave.
2. Support and provide information on Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) entitlement for in-house crew on a monthly basis.
3. Maintain an updated crew database for both in-house and freelancers with positions, grades, job scale, and performance, rate of professional fees, responsiveness, reliability, skills and technical competencies.
4. Any other ad-hoc crewing responsibilities.

b) Project-Related

1. Obtain relevant project information from Sales Department for crewing needs including details such as location of project, crew positions, duration of project, crew rate, and any other additional requirements.
2. Consult project technical manager to identify the crew requirement and skill sets required for each project.
3. Roster project with in-house and freelance crew.
4. For freelancers - Negotiate fees, manage contracts and other documents, and outline expectations and company policies.
5. Arrange and/or coordinate crew logistics including preparation of per diems, visa application, flight, accommodation, transportation, and meals.
6. Plan for crew contingencies for unexpected situations that may jeopardize projects.
7. Supper project crew by playing an active role in all communications related to crew (logistics and crew welfare).
8. Provide replacement crew if a crew member becomes unavailable due to sickness, flight cancellations, etc.
9. Assist in all project closeout activities including evaluation of project performance (from crew perspective), archival of projects, and preparation of close out reports.
10. Incorporate crew performance evaluation reports into crew database.

This role supports the rollout of non-pharmacological services for persons with dementia, covering preventive to intervention work, in collaboration with partners and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities Areas

• Provide leadership in developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based dementia and caregiver programmes to ensure holistic and person-centric service delivery.
• Case Management of mental health and dementia-related cases, overseeing care coordination, case planning, psycho education, referrals, and multi-disciplinary interventions.
• Deliver psychotherapy, psychoeducation and care planning support for clients and caregivers after diagnosis from primary and tertiary healthcare settings
• Build and maintain networks with stakeholders, community partners, and agencies to enhance care support and service linkages.
• Supervise and guide the care team through individual and group supervision, ensuring adherence to service protocols and best practices.
• Provide clinical direction and monitor the care team’s practices to ensure high-quality service coordination and linkage.
• Develop and review care plans, workflows, communication processes, and service manuals for continuous service improvement.
• Oversee the training and professional development of the care team, monitoring competencies and performance to support growth.
• Prepare regular administrative reports in line with service requirements and programme goals.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate groupwork and outreach initiatives for clients and caregivers.
• Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the Head of Community Mental Health and the Executive Director.

Requirements

Experience:

• Relevant experience in mental health and dementia care, including case management, groupwork, programme development and community engagement
• Proven experience in supervising and leading teams to deliver high-quality services.

Qualifications:

• Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Social Work, or
• Nursing or Relevant Allied Health Qualifications
