What a Manager – In-house Creator does at Visa:

This position supports the Senior Director, Brand, Creative and Content, in delivering content across media platforms, and with setting the strategic and creative direction of our Brand and key business initiatives [e.g. Ecommerce, Cash Conversion] for Visa AP [B2C] and for Visa’s clients [B2B2C].

Working closely with cross-functional teams [Insights, Brand, Product] and client marketers across AP, this role will lead the development, execution and implementation of engaging, effective, insights-driven content across multiple media channels helping to drive Visa brand preference and create revenue opportunities with clients.

• As an in-house creator, this role will have dual mandates. The first of which is to create content for Visa’s social channels on both a campaign and always on basis. Main Purpose of the Job:

• Ensure high quality, accurate working capital data is maintained and provided to both internal and external clients on a timely basis
• To assist the Financial Controller in managing and controlling the office's working capital (i.e. Outstanding debts) and to ensure that both internal & external clients receive accurate and timely financial information

Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

AR Manager

• Manage Billings team of two Billings Executives, overseeing their work and managing allocation of tasks
• Issue Invoices & credit notes to clients for fee billing & E submission in Government website
• Ensure correct account allocations and compliance with GST requirements
• Prepare and consolidate fee forecasting cash flow schedule for clients
• Handling enquiries regarding projects fee billing
• Liaise with Clients, project Directors & project managers on project status for fee billing
• Checking of fee agreements
• Month End closing activities for Accounts Receivables
• Perform ad hoc accounting, reporting and analysis tasks as required
• Credit Controller
• Pro-active processing of daily collections from customers
• Conduct rigorous follow-up procedures with timely and efficient issue resolution.
• Regular meetings and follow-up with Project Directors/Project Managers on working capital management (i.e. Account Receivables) and ageing debts with pro-active issue resolution.
• Work with clients on overdue balances; agree instalment payment plans if appropriate.
• Reporting activities such as weekly collections update and monthly accounts receivable ageing analysis
• Management of bad debt provisions including regular review and follow up, and monthly recommendations for accounts to be provisioned or written off if required
• Monitor intercompany receivables positions and follow up on collections from other AIS entities, including swift issue resolution
• Review existing internal controls, and develop and improve collection processes & cycles.

• Needs to be fluent in English. Mandarin an advantage.
• Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate to a non-financially literate audience is a prerequisite.
• Close attention to detail, willingness to take on any task and flexibility in work hours, if necessary, to meet business objectives.

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE

• Be a seasoned credit or AR professional.
• A minimum of 6 years’ experience. Legal industry or Professional Services experience is preferred.
• Experience of working for a MNC is desirable, with exposure to multi-currency environment.
• Is required to have knowledge of local accounting, reporting and tax requirements.
• Advanced level Excel essential, with ability to use other Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience of using MS D365 or similar ERP system an advantage
