Role summary

Our Total Rewards team plays an important role in supporting the attraction, engagement, and retention of key talent for the Firm. As a Rewards professional, you will contribute and support the team in the Firm’s compensation and benefits program management, which includes review, data analysis, data simulations, market research, communication, rollout of salary and benefit programs. You will also play an advisory role to our internal stakeholders relating to compensation and benefits policies and programmes.

How will you value-add?

• Conduct periodic benefits reviews and provide recommendations, insights to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of benefits programmes while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Document benefits, policies and processes according to the standard operating procedures
• Manage and partner with insurance broker, vendor to meet cost efficiency in employee insurance policies renewal and an effective programme delivery
• Contribute to the review of Compensation programmes, policies to ensure competitiveness and cost effectiveness. This includes but not limited to data preparation, conduct internal analysis and benchmarking to drive data-driven decisions and improvements
• Actively involved in the annual merit review activities and processes, including presentation materials for discussion at management meeting
• Develop, review, communicate rewards processes and guidelines in alignment with the Firm’s rewards philosophy
• Manage the annual budget and forecast costing exercise for people and indirect cost, work with HR Business Partners, Finance to ensure process is completed timely as well as address related queries
• Act as an internal consultant to the HR Business Partners to provide guidance on compensation and benefits policies, programmes
• Work with the Employer Branding and Engagement team on rewards communication
• Respond to requests for periodic and ad-hoc reports
• Participate in projects assigned such as to streamline and improve process of rewards programmes

About you

• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Compensation and Benefits management

Job Responsibilities:

· Ensure that adequate equipment and facilities are provided for verification of product quality.

· Ensure that all controlled documents are administered effectively.

· Quality control of sub-contractors.

· Daily coordination of all site work activities on Piping, Equipment installation.

· Liaising with Client inspector/Authorized inspector to ensure project requirement is fully achieved through out the project.

· Coordinate with sub-contractor/vendor to resolve quality issues and follow up for corrective actions.

· Carry out verification of purchased products in vendor's premises as specified in contracts.

· Supervise and manage the steel welding procedure and ensure the welding quality.

· Assist on the coordination with temp QP launching sequence for whole viaduct segment.

· Ensure identification and traceability of incoming, in-process finished products.

· Stipulate and control adequate criteria for workmanship.

· Monitoring of all Inspection Records, Material Test Reports and Mill Certificates.

· Ensure that all inspection, test and identifications are carried out according to quality plan or documented procedures.

· Quality check for architectural finishing such as plastering, brick wall and etc.

· Ensure that all nonconforming materials and products are adequately controlled.

· Investigate the cause of the nonconforming products and the corrective action needed to prevent recurrence.

· Ensure that all quality reports and customers' complaints are analyzed with adequate corrective actions taken.

· Ensure that quality records are properly stored and maintained.

· Define quality requirement for service and installation of products.

· Maintain adequate statistical techniques to control product and process quality.

· Check the BCA approved drawing and study for the feasible work for site.

Job Requirements :

· Bachelor's degree in Engeering studied, or a related field

· Mininum10 years QA/QC experiences

· Able to read, understand and interpret technical requirements, quality procedures, drawings, P&ID.

· Detail-oriented and have strong communication skills and able to work with people from all levels.

YOUR ROLE:

The Senior Data Engineer will work on acquiring, storing, governing and processing huge sets of structured / unstructured data. You will bring a vision of the big data solutions landscape for choosing optimal architecture components to use for these purposes as well as a set of data engineering skills for implementing enterprise data foundations such as data lake. Finally, you will work closely with other PALO IT experts in Data Intelligence, Research, UX Design, Digital Technology and Agile teams to enable intelligence in the digital mesh of our clients and deliver big impact to them.

• Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and process structured and unstructured data from various sources.
• Build and manage data warehouses and data lakes, implementing efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms. Design data models that support business requirements and analytics use cases.
• Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to design and deploy scalable data infrastructure, optimizing for performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in IT, Information Management, and/or Computer Science with at least 6 years of experience.
• Good knowledge of the big data technology landscape and concepts related to distributed storage/computing
• Experience with big data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop, Spark) and distributions (Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR)
• Experience with batch & ETL jobs to ingest and process data from multiple data sources
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, Neo4J, ElasticSearch)
• Experience with querying tools (e.g Hive, Spark SQL, Impala)
• Experience with Power BI
• Experience or willingness to go in real-time stream processing, using solutions such as Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Flume, and/or Spark Streaming
