Key Responsibilities

1. Tax Strategy & Compliance Optimization

Identify opportunities to maximize cash flow and minimize the effective tax rate.

Detect tax issues and potential savings through Interim Tax Compliance Checks.

Conduct local tax education and quarterly evaluations to identify and resolve tax issues.

Facilitate cross-subsidiary collaboration through tax process checks and issue resolution projects.

3. Compliance and Integrity Maintenance

Strengthen the tax risk monitoring system to ensure compliance and issue integrity.

Ensure adherence to the highest tax compliance and ethical standards.

Oversee federal, state, and international income tax returns and related analyses.

4. Process Improvement & Standardization

Develop internal processes within the Asia Tax Center.

Standardize tax issue management guidelines and evaluation processes for subsidiaries.

Ensure continuous improvement of tax-related processes, focusing on efficiency and transparency.

5. Other Responsibilities

Lead tax project planning and implementation.

Act as the primary contact for tax strategy, tax planning, tax compliance, tax advisory, and tax technical training.

Maintain strong relationships with external tax authorities and internal business units.

Lead audits of federal, state, and international tax filings.

Ensure risk management ratings are maintained through effective tax governance.

Requirements

1. Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Tax, Accounting, or Business Management.

Master’s Degree in Business Taxation or a related field (Preferred).

2. Professional Experience, Skills & Competencies:

Minimum 15 years of relevant tax experience in the financial services or related industry.

Strong background in international tax, tax planning, and regulatory compliance.

In-depth knowledge of global tax laws, international tax structures, and compliance standards.

Excellent leadership and project management skills.

Ability to manage cross-functional and multicultural teams across different countries.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Meeting with clients and other involved professionals at an early stage to agree on the project brief;

RESPONSIBILITIES

At FAM@FSC, the Senior Counsellor will conduct counselling for individuals, couples and families facing challenges in their relationships. The Senior Counsellor provides clinical supervision, design, deliver and oversee programmes for the organization. At the same time, the Senior Counsellor will need to have knowledge in case management and network with external stakeholders well. There is also a need to provide administrative/strategic support in accordance with the service's requirements. We are looking for passionate people who wants to work with couples and families.

Job Responsibilities:

• Offer early-risk marriage support eg minor and transnational couples, divorce support and family & marital counselling
• Offer group work and other interventions to families facing challenges; and to work with relevant partners to promote the welfare of the clients
• Proficient in various counselling approaches (e.g., systemic etc) and tools to help with clients' concerns effectively
• Possess the ability to manage challenging cases, including crisis intervention and referral to other agencies
• Deliver clinical supervision for staff's professional development
• Supervise and manage counselling interns, when necessary
• Plan, develop and implement programmes for children, adults and/or families
• Conduct annual appraisals with staff, where applicable
• Identify gaps in service delivery and improve work processes for the organization

• Attained a postgraduate qualification in counselling by accredited institutions under the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC)
• Obtained a minimum of 50 hours of training in Clinical Supervision
• Preferably a registered counsellor/supervisor with SAC

Relevant Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in counselling individuals, couples, and families (e.g. court cases) independently, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience
