Key Responsibilities

1) Chapter Exco Management

• Facilitate regular meetings to plan, consult and drive execution of chapter management plans;
• Work closely with Exco members to source for the resources required to ensure successful execution of projects and activities;
• Coordinate communications between Exco members and SGTech Council leadership to ensure alignment to organisation goals;

Business Opportunities: Drive local and global business matching opportunities for members

• Coordinate business matching events in partnership with SGTech’s Digital Transformation and Internationalisation programmes;

Business Capabilities: Build members’ business capabilities in Talent, Sustainability, Digital Transformation and Trust.

Requirements

You will be part of the technical specialists working at the client's waste management facilities including Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) - a large-scale waste management infrastructural project, and Tuas South Incineration Plant (TSIP).

Job Scope:

· You may be part of the project team to supervise IWMF construction progress.

The work scope includes:

1. To work with project consultants and key stakeholders, such as other government agencies, on the design of the various facilities in IWMF and ensure that IWMF is constructed, erected, installed in accordance with design specifications and complying with statutory requirement.
2. To participate in the testing, commissioning of mechanical, process, or electrical, instrument, control and automation equipment/systems.

Job Overview:

This role involves supporting the organisation’s strategic planning, performance management and administrative support which include the following key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Review

• Facilitate and contribute to the strategic planning sessions and reviews with Senior Management and the Board.

• Ensure alignment of strategies, action plans, and resources across functions and business units.

Performance Management and Data Analysis

• Monitor and track the implementation of strategic initiatives and organisational performance against key performance indicators.

• Analyse performance data to identify trends, uncover opportunities for improvement, and inform strategic adjustments through data-driven insights.

ESG Strategy and Implementation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to roll out short- and long-term ESG action plans.

• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure organisational compliance with relevant ESG-related standards and guidelines.

Secretariat Duties

• Perform secretariat duties for meetings and ensuring timely distribution of meeting materials and documentation for senior management, Board and Ministry engagements.

Legal Service Coordination

• Act as the primary liaison for legal requests

• Manage the administrative and procurement process for legal services.

• Maintain an organised tracking system for all ongoing legal requests.

Administrative Support

· Customer Service Support

· General maintenance of office equipment and supplies

· Courier Service and Mail

· Miscellaneous Administrative Tasks

· Managing CFS’ account on Giving.sg platform

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance & Banking or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Experience in strategic planning, business analysis, secretariat work or a related role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders. Experience working with senior management and Boards will be an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and Office 365.

   Manage the purchasing system to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely procurement.
   
4. Safety & Compliance:Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards in all marine operations.
   Conduct safety audits and implement corrective measures as needed.
   
5. Innovation & Technology:Identify and implement new technologies to enhance marine operations and construction.
   Foster creativity and innovation within the team.
   
6. Record Keeping & Reporting:Maintain detailed records of operations, budgets, and safety compliance.
   Prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders.
   

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, marine cabling or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing marine construction operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of vessel operations, maintenance, and budgeting.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the marine industry.
• Ability to innovate and adopt new technologies.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and reporting abilities.
