SUMMARY OF THE JOB

Guest Service

Cost Control

Training

Communication

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Direct, delegate, control, co-ordinate and participate in all Food and Beverage activities such as:

Ø To ensure the preparation and presentation of the products are always consistent and that the quality are not compromised.

Ø To ensure a consistent standard in the service of Food and Beverages at the outlet and in all functions of the business in and outside to achieve guest satisfaction.

Ø Cleaning and maintaining outlet, work areas, tableware utensils and other materials and equipment used in the outlet.

1. Appraise employee’s performance and production, correct mistakes, and inadequacies, ensuring that the quality and standards of Food and Beverages preparation and service are maintained.
2. Train personnel according to established procedures, conduct meetings to discuss problems, present new ideas, correct mistakes, and inadequacies, give instructions and special assignments etc.
3. Coordinate between different stakeholders to ensure that preparations for all functions, festivals promotion and other activities involving Food and Beverages have been made.
4. To assist General Manager in preparing annual Food & Beverage goals or forecast and budget, develop working plans to carry out goals, compare actual achievements against goals periodically, and take necessary corrective action.
5. Coordinate with General Manager in the preparation of the marketing plan, sees to the implementation of approved plans.
6. Prepare the Food & Beverage monthly report detailing and explaining figures of sales, costs and profits and comparing same with forecast.
7. Develop, in coordination with appropriate stakeholders, plans and strategies for selling Food and Beverages, such as new menus, special offers and promotional activities (e.g., food festivals, social media activities, etc.).
8. Ensure that adequate inventories of Food and Beverages and equipment are maintained.
9. Recommend revision in pricing of Food and Beverages items based on costs, competition, etc.
10. Attend to major operational problems and needs, attends to guests’ complaints, inquiries and requests, answer correspondences.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the GST implications of their business operations and transactions in various industries, including financial industry

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collating information and filing of Estimated Chargeable Income based on draft Profit & Loss account figures and advising clients on payment of income tax based on Estimated Notice of Assessment received.
• Assist in the preparation of the Income Tax Computations to calculate the amount of tax payable/unutilized losses which includes preparation of various schedules like Wear & Tear allowance, balancing charge/ allowance schedule for fixed assets, renovations, and interest adjustment.
• Assist in Filling up Form C and various Appendices.
• Assist in verification of the Notices of Assessment to the Income Tax Computation filed with IRAS and advising clients to pay if the assessment is in order.
• Assist in collating information and replying to the query letters from IRAS relating to the detailed breakdown of expenses, separate source income, provision for bad debts, interest adjustment, etc.
• Assist in filing of the necessary withholding tax forms and arranging of Withholding Tax certificates required by clients.
• Assist in filing of Director's personal returns and various supporting documents
• Assist in collating information from clients and filing of GST Registration Form GST F1 with IRAS.
• Assist in filing of GST Returns on a quarterly basis.
• Assist in conducting GST ASK review and submission of declaration and findings to IRAS.
• Dispatching of relevant documents to IRAS, updating of Outgoing Register, and Control Lists for ECI, Form C, etc.
• Dispatching of Form Cs filed with IRAS to Clients and updating of Client's Tax files with latest filings done.
• Assist in preparing payroll and filing of CPF and SDL returns on a monthly basis.
• Any other duties as and when assigned.
