You will be part of a well functional product team with responsibility to deliver digital solutions to optimize our Finance and Controlling capability in the LEGO Group.
The product team is facing a big S4 implementation the coming year, and you will play a vital role in this implementation.
You will, together with the Lead Engineer, Product owner and other important stakeholders help the LEGO Group to optimize the outcome of the Finance processes.
We work in an agile way and apply engineering, architecture, and product management practices to ensure we build what brings the most value to our customers and ensure a close feedback loop.
Core Responsibilities:
- Play an important role of build solutions for the Finance Product Team; understanding business requirements, configuring, testing and ensuring that our product is operating as expected in our live production environment.
- Deliver business outcomes (as defined in product team’s objectives and key results) through technical solutions
- Technical sparring with other IT Engineers demonstrating eagerness to teach, learn and experiment with an agile mindset
- Configure the applications to fit the LEGO Needs and setup needed integrations using modern API architecture
- Explore new technologies and methods and participate in prototypes with the product team
- Implement and maintain solutions via configuration of our existing SAP ECC and future S4 solution.
- DevOps approach “You build it – you run it - you own it” with automated testing, and CI/CD enabled pipelines.
Do you have what it takes?
- 5+ years of working experience with SAP – especially in the Finance and Controlling area eg. General Ledger, AP, AR, profit center accounting, Profitability analysis, Product cost controlling.
- Deep business process understanding from a global manufacturing company
- A Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar is preferred.
- Knowledge about system integration and use of API’s.
- Strong collaboration skills – both within business and technology
- Knowledge about agile methodologies and thrive with agile ways of working
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge within Architectural Design and Development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with test automation
