This position will involve reaching out and managing relationships with donors and prospects, particularly corporate partners and alumni. It will also involve coordinating fundraising activities and identifying new opportunities for engagement and support. 1. Fundraising

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising initiatives to support the School’s priorities
• Manage and coordinate corporate and other giving campaigns
• Collaborate with team to identify and pursue new gift and funding opportunities
• Facilitate all phases of the gift cycles, including initiating contact, face-to-face visits, cultivating relationships, moving potential donors to solicitation and closure, and stewarding donors
• Create and present compelling solicitations and proposals to potential donors

2. Donor Relations and Stewardship

• Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni, donors and corporate partners
• Coordinate stewardship activities to acknowledge and recognize donor contributions to ensure a positive donor experience
• Organise events and initiatives to engage potential and existing donors
• Prepare impact reports to update donors on progress

3. Prospect Research and Management

• Conduct research and analysis on donors/prospects to determine giving interests and potential as well as funding sources
• Compile databases/lists for prospect identification and lead generation
• Track industry, education and philanthropy-related news that could impact giving
• Maintain an updated database of prospects and manage donor records
• Develop and implement strategies for donor cultivation and stewardship

4. Gift Administration

• Support the team in gift processing and administration
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
• Track and analyse data on fundraising progress and outcomes
• Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Fundraising or similar capacity is advantageous
• Experience in higher education or in philanthropy will be a plus
• Proven track record in successful fundraising or selling to individuals and or/organisations
• Skilled relationship builders and able to manage a mixed portfolio of individual, corporate, and prospective donors
• Strong listener with excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
• A high degree of customer service orientation
• An ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with respect to prospects and donors’ information
• Experience in market research, database/portfolio/CRM management is desirable
• Creative problem-solving and good project management skills
• Internet savvy with proficiency in fundraising software and Microsoft Office suite

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Fleet Digitalization and Systems (Manager/Senior Manager) for one of our global shipping clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, integration, and optimization of digital technologies and systems on our client fleet of vessels. This role will focus on driving the digital transformation of fleet systems, leveraging telematics, fleet management software, IoT solutions, and data analytics to improve fleet performance, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience overseeing technology-driven initiatives within the maritime industry, including for ship management and/or Fleet IT.

Responsibilities

· Evaluate and implement new technologies relevant to vessel performance such as IoT systems, predictive maintenance, and remote monitoring systems. Oversee the entire deployment process from conceptualization to execution.

· Work closely with the PMS Manager and IT team to ensure existing systems (e.g. planned maintenance system, vessel reporting) are reliable, up-to-date, and able to meet business needs. Identify, evaluate and implement upgrades to drive performance improvement.

· Establish robust data collection mechanisms to gather insights into vessel performance, fuel consumption, maintenance needs, and environmental impact. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize vessel performance, improve fuel efficiency, and reduce emissions.

· Manage technology providers, negotiate contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and ensure that the selected solutions meet the organization's needs and provide a strong ROI.

· Ensure that all technology implementations comply with maritime regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.

· Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to ensure that PIL remains at the forefront of maritime technology.

· Lead and provide guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Marine Engineering.

· Minimum of 10 years of experience overseeing technology-driven initiatives within the maritime industry, including for ship management and/or Fleet IT.

· Deep understanding of maritime operations, vessel systems, and regulatory requirements, with experience in vessel digitalization, automation, and remote monitoring technologies.

· Familiarity with Bassnet or similar fleet management systems is essential.

· Proficient in a wide range of digital technologies relevant to fleet management, such as IoT sensors, data analytics platforms, fleet management software, predictive maintenance systems, cybersecurity protocols, etc.

· Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to extract actionable insights from large volumes of data generated by vessel sensors, performance metrics, and operation records.

· Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading technology projects from inception to completion, within budget and schedule constraints.
