• Responsible to work with the respective server and application teams’ members in troubleshooting and identify root cause & for the completion of network initiatives;
• Responsible for network devices, as well as appliances, vulnerability review and assessment;
• Responsible to develop IT security policy, security management framework, and IT security incident response plan;
• Responsible to manage IT security incidents based on IT security incident response plan;
• Ensure system compliance with all established information security policies;
• Perform period health check of network devices;
• Ready to be on call for 24x7 support.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree with 5 years background in network security administration and technical experience within a large-scale enterprise environment;
• Experience with design configurations and technical concepts for implementation, preferably with large scale enterprise network on switching and routing protocol OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS experience;
• Experience on Cisco Nexus with data center experience would be preferred;
• Experience with deployment and upgrading maintenance of network switches, routers, firewalls, and other network appliances include Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, F5 encompassing LANs, WANs, network security and wireless network;
• Perform network infrastructure changes and peer review of configurations scheduled for deployment;
• Network Certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/JNCIE) will be preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Able to take duct measurements with close of 100% accuracy
• Able to read drawings and know what materials to buy to install the ducting system.
• Able to plan the project and lead/supervise Junior duct installer to work and meet deadlines.
• Able to do normal and Fire rated insulation based on regulation.
• Able to work under pressure and attend site including Sunday & Public Holiday when instructed.
• Able to do Ducting installation (over 5 years experience)

Requirement

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
• Min 5 years of relevant working experience as a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer or Project Manager at consulting firms
• Relevant experience in the planning, design and implementation of M&E services
• Possessing an entrepreneurial mind, showing flexibility, and being innovative and result-oriented
• Willingness to grow and lead the M&E business in a listed company as an entrepreneurial owner of the business in an environment similar to start-up
• Network within the sector to source new projects for the company

Job description

Nuevocor is a pre-clinical stage biopharmaceutical start-up dedicated to developing genetic medicines to treat the underlying cause of genetic cardiomyopathies. Backed by an international syndicate of reputable venture capital firms, it will focus on advancing its lead program to clinical trials. It will also leverage its platform technology, underpinned by a deep understanding of cardiac mechanobiology, to discover and develop therapies for genetic cardiomyopathies.

Nuevocor’s Singapore R&D site is seeking to hire at the Senior Scientist level to expand our internal research capabilities. You will be joining a close-knit team and will be expected to lead projects. You will liaise closely with other company scientists and external collaborators and direct research associates.

Responsibilities

• Identify and validate novel cardiomyopathy drug targets
• Design, execute and troubleshoot experiments to develop gene therapy constructs for the treatment of genetic cardiomyopathies
• Document and interpret data to develop and improve experimental procedures
• Keep detailed and accurate records of experiments, data and analysis to support and protect intellectual property of the company
• Prepare and present scientific updates internally and externally

Qualifications needed

• PhD in Cardiac Biology, Cell and Molecular Biology, or related fields
• Experience in working with animal models or cardiac model systems is highly desirable
• Background in cardiac genetics and disease, or cell structure and function (e.g. cytoskeleton cell biology), would be advantageous, but not required
• Experience in a range of molecular and cell biology techniques, such as primary and immortalized cell culture, transfection, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence microscopy, qPCR, and protein assays is required
