The Associate / Research Coordinator shall assist the Principal Investigator with collection of clinical data and data management for lymphoma research. They will also help implement and coordinate research projects and its activities. These activities may include screening, recruitment, incident event reporting, data entry, biological specimen collection and processing, maintenance of site files and research participants’ follow up.

Your responsibilites will include:

- Coordinate with Principal Investigator, patients, and relevant departments to help ensure that clinical research and related activities are performed in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, protocols, and regulatory compliances.

- Review and develop a familiarity with the study proceedings and timelines, inclusion / exclusion criteria, confidentiality, privacy protections to reduce screen failure of patients.

- Entry and validation of study data, extraction of relevant information from medical records, reporting of adverse events, maintenance of investigator files and other impertinent and essential documentation. Maintenance of existing database to input or validate prospective and retrospective data.

- Ensure that patient has informed consent and is aware of the procedure. Check to ensure all equipment required such as media, swab stick, blood tube etc. is properly maintained and ready for use. Label all specimen collected and ensure all source documents are in order.

- Handle all initial and follow up communications between patients, healthcare professionals, clinical trial industry sponsors and PI/Co-Investigators. Assist in communications with DSRB/IRB staff regarding study-related ethics applications, amendments, and status reports.

- Develop the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential risks or non-compliance. Ensure all near-misses and protocol deviations are reported in a timely manner.

- Adherence to the IRB by ensuring site compliance with research protocols by reviewing all regulatory requirements to confirm implementation of appropriate methods, practices, and procedures for all research activities.

- Assist the Principal Investigator in submission of accurate and timely closeout documents. Coordinates appropriate and timely payments to participants (if applicable).

Requirements:

- Degree/Diploma in Life Science or its equivalent.

- No prior research experience is required for this role, although it will be an added advantage.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

- Proficient in English and a second language for ease of communication during patient recruitment.

Purpose of Position

The individual in this position reports to the HOD and contributes to the administration of the programme. The individual in this position will assist in the administrative and secretarial support to the Department. He/she will also be the main liaison for public enquiries and all incoming referrals. He/she is responsible for providing administrative support to the Department and preparing monthly reports required by the funders, governing authorities, audit and sponsors to ensure the timely submission of the documents. He/she is also expected to provide administrative and logistics support to the department’s projects, from and not limited to procurement processes, department and board meetings, minutes writing, SOPs, management of funds etc.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and logistics support to the department in operational documentation and reports i.e. weekly department meeting notes, evening management committee meetings for CW2S department, assist in collation of profiling and needs assessment, monthly reports required for internal analysis, by the funders, governing authorities and sponsors to ensure the timely submission of the documents for funding and audit etc.
• Administer annual satisfaction survey with seniors/befriendees and CW2S team.
• Tapping on Excel, Power BI, or software/application to consolidate reports/data.
• Provide administrative support to the department in Purchase Requisition and Payment vouchers. Monitoring the usage of funds for staff welfare, maintain department’s google sheet schedule etc.
• Update, develop and/or streamline current operational workflows and SOPs such as ops manual, workflows, policies and documentation procedures i.e. visitation SOPs including escalation SOPs and risk management etc. Establish knowledge management documentation system. Initiate, coordinate and consolidate knowledge management efforts with CW2S managers and AAC team.
• Main liaison with IT colleagues and external vendor (NUS) on our CVWO issues, documents and troubleshoots day-to-day issues as well as oversee the annual improvement exercise with NUS.

The Laboratory of Applied Human Genetics at the National Cancer Centre Singapore is a multi-disciplinary laboratory with specific focus on peritoneal malignancies and sarcoma. The direction of our laboratory is to solve real world clinical problems via sound scientific translation. Since the conception of our laboratory 7 years ago, we have now set up three scientific pillars of Therapeutics, Companion Diagnostic and CAPTIVATE (Target Generation) pipeline. Currently, we are working towards a first-in-human therapeutic developed in our laboratory. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Fellow to work with a team of researchers in the area of cancer therapy for advanced metastatic cancers. Interested applicants should have an extensive molecular biology experience to uncover the MOA/structure of our therapeutic using cellular signaling, cell biology or protein structure approaches and possess the desire to translate basic science to make a clinical impact. Previous work with genomic / CRISPR / proteomic screens (or similar) to understand the molecular biology of key oncogenic drivers will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

- Establish bioassays for in-house screening pipelines to develop new therapeutics.

Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) is the coordinating platform for translational research for thoracic malignancies in Asia. Its mission is to advance medical knowledge of lung cancer and improve health outcomes of patients through clinical studies and scientific events.

Asia Pacific Oncology Drug Development Consortium (APODDC) was formed to foster education and collaboration between key stakeholders of cancer drug development within the Asia Pacific region, thereby improving treatment access to patients. APODDC drives regional activities in collaboration with institutions in the region and industry partners.

ATORG and APODDC operate centrally under the Clinical Trials and Epidemiological Sciences (CTE) division in National Cancer Centre Singapore.

The Senior / Executive will mainly organise events for ATORG and APODDC . The types of events include, but are not limited to, virtual, hybrid and in-person advisory board meetings, educational seminars and workshops. This role provides opportunities to interact internationally with healthcare institutions, industry partners and vendors, and manage key stakeholders at a regional level.

Main Responsibilities:

Organise events (80%)

• Responsible for managing events from startup to execution
• Communicate effectively and manage internal and external stakeholders and service providers
• Plan timeline for each event
• Draft budget, including sourcing of funding and reconciliation of funding and expenses
• Handle all logistics, inclusive of procurement (eg. venue, online/travel arrangements) and on-site management during event

The Ophthalmic Investigation Technologist performs Ophthalmic Investigation procedures and administrative functions in the Electrophysiology Laboratory. The Ophthalmic Investigation Technologist will assist the Supervisor to guide attachment staff or Ophthalmic Technicians from other departments during their learning course in the electrophysiology lab.

Patient Care & Administrative Functions

· Perform ophthalmic investigation procedures in accordance to established standard procedure

· Explain the procedure of the investigative test(s) and inform patients on the charges.

· Provide relevant information and advice to patients’ queries during the ophthalmic investigation procedure

· Ensure the smooth operations at the Investigation Rooms in providing ophthalmic investigation services for patients

The Associate Clinical Research Coordinator (ACRC) shall assist all levels of Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs and above), in coordinating clinical research.

The ACRC has to ensure that trial- related work is conducted and recorded in accordance with the protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines, all applicable regulatory requirements and the Clinical Trials Office Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as instructions from her superiors.

You will support and assist in the following trial related activities:

• Take over trials that have completed treatment phase or trials that involve few simple procedures.
• Data collection and management including resolving data discrepancies, tracking of trial expenditures and timely invoicing (where applicable), etc.
• Administering quality of life questionnaires or any other surveys as and when required.
• Performing trial procedures which include taking and recording patients’vital signs performing ECGs; collecting data; other trial-related procedures.
• Collection and delivery of biological specimens eg blood, urine and tissues whenever necessary.
• Inventory of study materials such as laboratory kits, patient diaries and case report forms to ensure adequate supplies are maintained to conduct the trials.
• Collection of medical records or duplicate radio-diagnostic films and ensuring that the items are collected in accordance with specific request forms.
• Managing the Clinical Trials Office’s Medical Records Trolley and the transportation of medical notes in the Trolley between Medical Records Office and the Clinical Trials Office. The ACRC shall also assist other CTO staff to obtain medical notes and other source documents.
