The Department of Geography at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is inviting applications for a Manager / Assistant Senior Manager in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to provide support to the GIS Unit and its GIS educational programmes. The GIS Unit spearheads the research, training and applications of GIS in the Department and aims to extend beyond the academic realm to foster an Asia-focused GIS ecosystem with global reach. Requirements:

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in Engineering (with relevant experience).
• Knowledge of water treatment, hygienic and steam, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, semi-conductor industries is an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in Industrial/Technical products, particularly valves, sensors and process control instrument.
• Strong leadership skills and able to lead a team.
• A hands-on person.
• Able to communicate with customers on building solutions.

• Computer and PLC literate, proficient in MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint

Job Responsibilities & Requirement:

Primary

• Provide level 2 End User Computing support and well verse in Windows OS
• Good Hardware and software troubleshooting skills for PC.
• Break fix and IMAC support for end user deskside equipment
• Basic troubleshooting skills for IOS and android devices.
• Handles asset and peripherals inventory management.
• Meeting room and AV equipment knowledge.
• Provide smart hands support for networks and servers
• Able to support off hours or require to perform ad hoc duties as and when needed
