World Table Tennis (WTT) is a commercial entity created by the ITTF to grow the professionalisation of table tennis by running ITTF’s commercial and events business. Taking a new, innovative and entrepreneurial approach to how table tennis should manage its competition platform and positioning, WTT has been tasked with re-imagining a new professional event structure, re-energising the entertainment and fan experience, and re-defining the new era.

WTT is seeking an energetic and hands-on Event & Experience Manager who is innovative and resourceful. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the spectrum of operational tasks and projects under Events and in line with WTT’s business plan and strategic goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support WTT Event and Experience Senior Director in the delivery of WTT events and bring the WTT brand to life;
• Attend events as required and assist in the implementation of the event experience delivery;
• Manage broadcast support for all WTT events;
• Collaborate with the partnerships team to ensure branding and pre-event activation implementation;
• Liaise with WTT teams, external vendors and Local Organising Committee (LOC)s regarding event experience and management logistics
• Assist the WTT Events Executive Director and WTT Event and Experience Senior Director with daily work;
• Identify innovative and creative ideas to grow the WTT brand from an event delivery perspective;
• Manage the administrative and financial requirements for events in relation to the event bidding process and ensuring events are meeting administrative and financial obligations;
• Develop and ensure event manuals, policies and new documents are up-to-date or produced as required;
• Assist in the identification and assessment of potential WTT host cities;
• Other task as required by the WTT Events Executive Director and Event & Experience Senior Director.

Under the general direction of the Director of Finance and Business Support and within the limits of InterContinental Hotels Group policies and procedures, and local requirements, has responsibility for administration of Hotel’s Credit Policies.

Enforce and maintain credit and collection policies and procedures to maximize hotel profitability through reducing bad debt exposure and improving working capital.

Your day-to-day

• Reviews city ledger daily for correct postings of charges and take corrective action where necessary
• Ensure prompt City Ledger billing, payments postings, monthly SOA sending, Reconciliation of all AR account balances (including Credit card account balances, PM account balances)
• Monitor and pursue collection of overdue accounts
• Review bad debts listing monthly to prepare collectability analysis for monthly provision for doubtful debts
• Respond to and resolve account queries in conjunction with accounts receivable
• Assists in control and collection of outstanding guest and city ledger accounts
• Prepare management reports for month end analysis and provide documentation for credit meeting
• Review provision, write-offs and other adjustments immediately prior to month end
• Conduct monthly credit meeting with relevant IHG team highlighting monthly performance, bad debts, staff accounts outstanding and discuss any accounts causing concern and follow up
• Assists in maintaining and preparing accurate and timely financial and operating information with emphasis on the Aged Trial Balance of Accounts Receivable
• Works with Superior in the preparation and management of the department’s financial reportings

The Senior Finance Manager will be a strategic thought-partner, and report to the Executive Director. The Senior Finance Manager will partner with the senior leadership and the board of directors to develop and implement strategies across the organization. She/He will be a hands-on and participative manager and will lead and develop an internal team to support the following areas: finance, business planning and budgeting. In addition, the successful candidate will oversee all compliance and recognition for government contracts and grants. 1. Strategy
