The Head of Social Work Services plays a crucial role within the Allied Professional Hub, overseeing the operations and strategic direction of social work and family support services in Rainbow Centre’s Early Intervention, Special Schools and Family Life Services. This position leads a team of social workers and allied professionals and works closely with the Director of the Allied Professional Hub to review strategic initiatives, ensure quality delivery of services, monitor service administration, manage resources and foster collaboration internally and externally for the betterment of our clients.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure Operational Efficiency and Service Quality

• Develop work plans for the departments, in alignment with organisational goals
• Develop and implement quality assurance measures to ensure adherence to service standards, performance indicators and operating guidelines of the department and/or programmes

Uplift Professional Practice in Social Work

Manage Change

The Specialist, Community Activation , will play a key role in designing and executing placemaking initiatives that promote social interaction, inclusivity, and a sense of belonging within the community. The postholder will collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop and implement creative solutions that enhance the physical environment and encourage meaningful connections among diverse groups. Critical Work Functions

User Design and Data Analytics

• Conduct social research to understand needs, preferences, gaps of various target audiences (such as adults with disabilities, caregivers, community members, and enterprise partners), including understanding their demographics and psychographics
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of placemaking initiatives in promoting community engagement and inclusivity
• Use data insights to inform the design of physical spaces (e.g Social Town) and programming that foster social interaction and a sense of belonging

Partnerships and Engagement

• Identify, build, and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, enterprises, and befrienders

Project Management

About the role of Director, People and Shared Corporate Services

We seek a dynamic and strong capable leader who can independently drive and manage the entire spectrum of HR, shared services (digital/IT strategy and communications), and corporate functions. The Director of People and Shared Corporate Services is responsible for driving talent management strategies, overseeing HR operations, administering shared and corporate services strategy, and ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards. This role also involves preparing manpower annual budgets, providing strategic framework insights, and collaborating with the board and senior leadership to align HR, digital/communication and operational strategies with organizational goals.
