The Youth Care Worker is responsible with delivering trauma-informed care, supervision, and management to female adolescents who have faced abuse or neglect. Focused on enhancing wellness and quality of life, the Youth Care Worker ensures that the residents' basic personal, physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, educational, and social needs are comprehensively addressed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the daily operational duties and supervise residents in their regular activities
• Assist residents with any difficulties related to day-to-day issues at Dayspring Residential Treatment Centre and ensure their welfare and safety
• Promote discipline among the residents and be a mentor/role model to them
• Assess, respond and handle crises or conflicts
• Carry out individual therapeutic interventions based on care plans by treatment team
• Participate in providing physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, educational, and social needs of residents

Requirement

Youth Mentors are required to work with young beneficiaries with complex trauma

• With experience in working with youth at-risk
• With basic processing and counselling skills
• With knowledge of common issues and disorders that appears in trauma and abuse
• Willing to work on 3-shift rotations and over weekend/Public Holidays

About the Role

Aureus Group is looking for Centre Managers who can lead and mentor a team of Customer Service Executives in the direction of working towards the company goals. They need to be equipped with strong organization and sales skills, with extensive product knowledge and able to provide excellent customer service in order to ensure that he/she can promote the company and our programmes effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct assigned number of outgoing sales calls daily
• Achieve assigned monthly lead generation, sales/ enrolments and lead-conversion targets, in addition to any other targets that may be set by the management in relation to centre growth
• Cultivate team members through effective on-the-ground mentoring and ensure they achieve their individual management-assigned targets
• Answer all incoming phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct sales activities and events to support the team with lead generation and conversions
• Retain existing customers through effective problem solving and ensure that all team members uphold the highest quality of service standards at all times
• Ensure desirable centre growth by providing excellent customer service and mitigate student turnover
• Maintain or exceed assigned closure or conversion rate target for all trials to enrolments to ensure maximum output from leads.
• Plan, manage, and execute teacher growth plans in order to achieve monthly teacher targets assigned by the management for respective centre
• Performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management

Hiring Criteria:

• At least 2-3 years’ experience in the customer service field, with at least 1 year in a manager-level position
• Must be available to work retail hours and on both weekends
• Strong sense of adaptability and leadership
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English (Being bilingual/trilingual would be an advantage)
• Goal-driven individuals with the ability to focus and prioritise tasks that drive the growth of the centre
• Positive, extroverted, and outgoing personality with the passion for customer service

• Prepare daily progress reporting and maintain records that are up to date.
• Work closely with sub-cons, highlight any work-related matters for team's discussion and solutions.
• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation, according to the Project.
• Responsible for any submissions.

• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status to the management.

• Maintenance of proper documentation.
• Collect tender documents and check for completeness.
• Study and review the tender documents, which include specifications, drawings, commercial requirements and technical requirements.
• To co-ordinate with the relevant departments on commercial items e.g. insurance cover etc.
• To co-ordinate and obtain technical information in order to do cost estimates.
• Where required, to carry out material take-off including man-hours estimates; obtaining material / equipment prices from both local and oversee vendors; obtaining quotes on services ad subcontracting works.
• To attend site visits and clarification meetings with the customer.

Marketing/Branding Responsibilities:

1) Donor management

• Establish and maintain a database of donors, categorised by corporate (active/passive), individuals, (active/passive) and lapsed donors
• Act as a key liaison with donors, co-ordinating and working with fundraising volunteers to maintain regular contact through emails (templated by category) and follow up on fundraising leads
• Actively grow our corporate network and execute programmes to encourage corporate partnerships, and in turn, donations
• Generate monthly report based on the categories of donor

2) Fundraising activity management

• Annual budget planning and forecasting of fundraising calendar of events
• Brainstorm, set up and execute fundraising initiatives and campaigns
• Work with various departments within SOSD to produce fundraising publicity material for dissemination through various media channels and outlets
• Responsible for ongoing communication, tracking fundraising projects’ progress and status vs. schedule, timings, delays etc. and ensure that fundraising project trackers are always updated
• Manage logistics of fundraising events (virtual or in-ground) and ensure full compliance with regulations and policies, working with volunteers to steer project management to final delivery
• Manage, monitor and update all fundraising activities and events timelines and set realistic expectations with stakeholders
• Manage Sponsor-A-Dog Programme
• Create P&L report for individual campaigns and events

3) Adhere to SOSD Fundraising SOPs

• Monitor internal fundraising workflows, identify and make recommendations for areas for improvement
• Follow agreed workflows and utilise relevant project management tools

4) Volunteer management

• Manage a team of fundraising volunteers and assist in recruitment of suitable volunteers for the team

5) Healing Paws

• Oversee and support Healing Paws programme where needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in marketing and/or fundraising

• Minimum diploma

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Good co-ordination skills and good in multitasking

• Able to work independently and being a teamplayer
