We are seeking a passionate System Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will work in a constantly evolving environment, due to technological advances and strategic direction of the various project stakeholders. You will create, maintain and improve systems to meet particular needs. You will also test both hard and software systems to diagnose and resolve system faults.

• Install new and/ or rebuild infrastructure, server (Windows/ Unix), storage, hardware appliances, services, settings, in accordance to customer’s requirement and complies with audit processes
• Able to operate on of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 , Active Directory for Windows Server and Networking related to Windows Server
• Manage system changes through change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties.
• Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
• Monitor & measure the performance & availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & availability.
• Monitor the agreed service level, document & maintain the configuration of the systems; provide regular reporting to relevant parties.
• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
• Provide supporting documentation, reports and other information to management (e.g. system utilization reports)
• Provide support to users on a variety of system technologies including Microsoft Windows Server OS, VMWare, etc.

Qualities We Value

• Network and Security knowledge (TCP/IP, Loadbalancer, firewalls, SFTP, SEPM Antivirus, Tenable Nessus etc.)
• Experience in managing and configuration of backup solution software - Veritas Netbackup and VEAM
• Practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment.
• Able to operate the Nutanix AHV, MS Hyper-V IT infrastructure or other hyperconverged virtual environment
• Be able to effectively operate within set guidelines, policies and procedures, and able to execute instructions with minimal supervision
• Good understanding of large Data Center Facilities operation
• Expected to work during off-peak hours on system activities (e.g. patching, upgrade)

Responsibilities

• Handle service requests for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in compliance with the Company’s Service Agreement.
• Diagnose and resolve any system issues encountered during maintenance service visits at customer locations.
• Oversee and ensure the quality of work performed by subcontractors during maintenance tasks, while providing technical support to other departmental staff.

Requirements

• With 1-2 years’ experience in service and maintenance of alarm, card access and CCTV systems.
• Candidate with building construction safety supervisor / Work-At-Height / Risk Management certs will be an added advantage.
