Reporting to the Senior Centre Manager/ Centre Manager (CM)/ Assistant Centre Manager (ACM)/ Senior Programme Executive (SPE), the Programme Executive (PE) works closely with the Centre in-charge to manage the daily operations of the assigned Eldercare Centre, so that it can fulfill its intended purposes as stipulated by the funders and LBSA.

Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management

· Community Outreach – Assist in the execution of the Community Outreach Plan.

· Relationship Management - Engage community partners, build effective and sustainable

partnerships with them to serve the needs of the seniors.

· Recruitment of Members - Promote and advertise AAC programme to seniors in designate blocks

· Volunteer Management - Identify new volunteers, engage and support volunteers for activities

Day-to-Day Centre Operations

· Programmes and Activities - Assist in collecting data, planning, implementation and evaluation of

programmes

· Financial Reporting - Adhere to planned budget allocated to the Centre. Ensure proper

documentation of finance-related transactions

Other Duties

· Any other responsibilities as assigned by the SCM/ CM/ ACM/ SPE

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Related qualification in working with the elderly or in the social service sector

· At least 1 year of experience in direct operational work (especially in the area of Eldercare), such as

conducting and evaluating programmes/ activities; conducting of needs assessment

· Has some prior experience in stakeholder management, especially in working with community

partners

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Enjoy working with seniors and volunteers

· Good administrative skills

· Good problem solving skills

· Good interpersonal skills, a team player, yet able to work independently

· Good communications skills, preferably bilingual with dialects

Job Description:

· Support the Centre Supervisor and Executive in the day-to-day execution of activities /related tasks at the Active Ageing Centres.

· Engage elderly residents in the community and encourage them to participate in activities which the Active Ageing Centre organizes.

· Organize social activities and outings for the community at the designated Active Ageing Centre.

· Co-plan and support integrated home-based or offsite programs/activities extended from the Centre and fulfill at least four of the five domains recommended by the regulatory agency, AIC (Physical; Cognitive; Social, Volunteerism, Learning).

· Engage and support volunteers for programs and activities.

· Source for suitable locations for the conduct of activities and programs.

· Deliver a high level of customer service and engagement with seniors and community partners.

· Attend to phone calls to Centre hotline and walk-ins when Admin Assistant is away.

· Support targeted outreach and contact seniors within the Centre’s service cluster at least once annually.

· Collect and compiling data for KPI Submission on a weekly or monthly basis.

· Attend to any other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

· Minimum “O” Level qualifications

· Preferably with at least 1 year of working experience in an eldercare setting or befriending and buddying services [or volunteering services]

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Possesses a passionate and sincere disposition to plan activities and outreach to active and frail seniors

· Be able to work in the evening and on weekends when necessary/required

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Education/ Teacher Certificate, Diploma or other Teacher Accreditation courses and certification, or relevant field.

2. Prior experience teaching in an enrichment centre or similar educational setting.

3. 1-2 year of proven experience in teaching mathematics/ science at the primary or early secondary school level.

4. Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage young learners effectively.

5. Passion for education and commitment to the academic and personal development of students.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Familiar with Singapore’s education system and curriculum frameworks (PSLE & early Secondary)
