JOB PURPOSE

To support the Commercial Diving Department by performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections of leisure and commercial diving equipment. The Junior Diving Technician will ensure all equipment operates efficiently and meets safety standards, enhancing operational reliability and customer satisfaction.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment Maintenance and Repair:

• Inspect, service, and repair diving regulators, BCDs, breathing air compressors, and associated equipment.
• Perform hydrotesting of diving cylinders and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct air quality analysis for compressors to maintain safe breathing air standards.

Commercial Equipment Support:

How you’ll shape our journey

• Support offsite servicing of IoT devices at clients sites.
• Support CTO in building of future IoT solutions for clients
• Support CTO in designing, fabricating and implementation of solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales Teams in deal pursuit pitches
• Subject matter expert in designing and optimizing shelving load capacities for clients.

We are looking for?

· Proficient in Python and C++

· Able to work with PCB and circuits board, soldering etc

· Confident in operating basic tools, drills, electric saws, electric cutters

· Comfortable in fabricating basic shelvings and racks

Mandatory Skills

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with expertise in Scala, SQL, and Hadoop to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems to process large datasets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions for data storage, transformation, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Data Pipeline Development

o Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Scala and Hadoop frameworks.

o Implement ETL processes for ingesting, transforming, and storing data from various sources.

Data Analysis and Query Optimization

o Write and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and transformation.

o Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in queries and data workflows.

Big Data Ecosystem Management

o Manage Hadoop-based data infrastructure, including HDFS, Hive, and related components.

o Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization in a distributed environment.

Collaboration and Problem Solving

o Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

o Provide technical guidance and best practices for data engineering within the team.

Automation and Monitoring

o Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and enhance system monitoring.

o Ensure data quality and consistency through validation and monitoring mechanisms.

Documentation and Compliance

o Document technical solutions, workflows, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and reproducibility.

o Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in Scala programming and functional programming principles.

o Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and database design.

o Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (HDFS, Hive, YARN, MapReduce).

o Familiarity with other big data tools like Spark, Kafka, or Flink is a plus.

Problem-Solving:

o Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.

Communication:

o Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience:

6+ years of experience in data engineering, big data technologies, or a

similar role.
