Job Description:

This is a full time role for a Customer Service located in Tuas. Our client is a reputable waste management and recycling company in Singapore, dedicated to providing sustainable solutions for waste disposal. You will involves supporting daily operational tasks while ensuring customer orders are managed and followed up efficiently. It requires the ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain effective communication and coordination with team members. Additionally, the candidate will handle other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Principal Responsibilities

• Handles customers’ orders accurately. Ensures all important details are captured correctly in SAP or Gold during sales order creation. Check invoices before sending out to customers.
• Coordinates with customers on the status of orders and delivery dates.
• Provide effective responses and rapid resolutions to customer enquiries through close liaison with Operations, Distribution, Sales and Marketing.
• Coordinates the PSO services to customers and internal functions. Ensures all PSO events are recorded and have correct invoices for all PSO events.
• Influence the customers’ perception of Linde primarily through strong customer focus and professionally presented calls and replying emails. Adherence to call and email quality and performance accuracy against defined process.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with other departments particularly Sales, Marketing, Production and Distribution team. Work as a team on the root cause analysis and improvement that involves various department processes as appropriate and to improve business operations.
• Escalate to Customer Service Manager for the complex and non-routine issues. Seek guidance and alignment.
• Accurate and maximum utilisation of SAP functionality in maintenance of customer master database particularly Telequery to capture all customer enquiries.
• Establish compliance with Linde safety standard, policies and procedures
• Evidence a strong personal commitment to Safety in the Customer Service Team
• Promote corporate values of the company.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Qualifications/Experience

• Minimum diploma holder in Business/Marketing/Admin / Supply Chain
• Strong interpersonal skills in customer service
• 2 years’ experience in customer service
• 1 year experience in gas company
• Experience in processing PO/DN

Base Salary + Allowance + Completion Bonus

5.5 day work week (alternate saturdays wfh)

Job Description:

• Technical review on new project orders and order assignments to Technical Engineer & Drafter team.
• Ensure timely submission of engineering documents i.e. Control Schematic Drawing, General Assembly Drawing, Wiring Diagram, Nameplate Drawing, Test Procedure, Data Sheet etc.
• Review all project engineering documents before submitting them to client.
• Manage engineering change function and ensure engineering documents are updated accordingly.
• Provide advice and guidance to Technical Engineer & Drafter team for any technical queries and to support other ops team on various aspects of technical/engineering matters.
• To check and make recommendations based on common industrial engineering practice, where necessary.
• To provide and implement cost effective and best engineering solutions for project to stay competitive.
• To provide sound engineering practice and engineering calculation where applicable in a timely manner to meet project timeline.
• To review international standards and/or project specifications for product compliance. i.e. ISO 12490 / API 6DX / IOGP S-707 / SHELL DEP standards or other industrial standards related to Valve Automation and/or instrumentation.
• Providing field support for customers to resolve after-sales technical issues or technical clarifications.
• To attend internal/external kick off Meeting (KOM) when required.
• Travel with technicians to installation base and sites if the need arises.
• To assist manager to lead the department’s improvement programs and/or process efficiency initiatives.
• To assist manager in maintaining and updating the department's Standard Operating Procedures.
• To carry out Engineering personnel annual performance review to ensure competency and give counselling when required.
• Support new employee orientation by providing brief engineering department process flow training.
• Support Operations department in resolving aftermarket technical issues such as Product Design changes / Fault Finding / Supplier Discrepancies.
• Support development and upkeep of staff technical competency and training management.
• Performs additional related duties as requested or required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 6-8 years supervisory experience in Valve Automation and/or instrumentation background.
• Conversant with ISO 12490 / API 6DX / IOGP S-707 / SHELL DEP standards or other industrial standards related to Valve Automation and/or instrumentation.
• Possess a strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D or drafting software & SAP will be an added advantage.
• Familiar and possess intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
• Very self-driven and able to drive the team.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and can work as a team.
