Job Description

• Ensure the team adhere to Quality and Safety standards. Conduct periodically quality walks, safety walks and safety inspections. Coach team on safety behaviour, and be a role model.
• Assist the manager to create development opportunities.
• Coordinate subcontractor works and audit their work quality standards.
• Carry out site survey and standardisation repair project for lifts and escalators according to customers’ requests, industrial trend and code of practice requirement.
• Coordinate with factory and/ or suppliers and contractors to implement new systems or repair existing ones on Schindler equipment, per customers’ requests.
• Support in the preparation of reporting for internal or external usage.
• Carry out ad-hoc assignments, such as, conduct training, attend customer meetings, etc.
• Liaise with customers on their complaints and take the lead in follow up actions.
• Coordinate, monitor, execute actions on operation problems and lift technical problems.

• Minimum 2 years of technical experience in lifts or related Technical Service industry.
• Good spoken and written English
• MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, SAP experience an advantage but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Respond to network appliances connectivity issues and resolve any issues within the confines of the office.
• Collaborate with partners and service vendors to ensure that the LAN, WAN, firewalls, and network appliances stay operational.
• Troubleshoot, provide resolution and raising tickets when networking equipment face issues.
• Create, maintain, and update documentation as it relates to configuration, process, and service records.
• Monitoring security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information
• Responsible for providing customer support in solving all phases of complex information security related technical problems.

Requirements

• L2: 1 to3 years’ experience in Network Infra Setup and Operations
• Troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, firewall, proxy/web isolation and data center operation.

I- Basic Function/General Scope of Work

The position takes overall responsibility of project management for all aspects (contract, commercial and technical) of the projects assigned. The position works closely with Project Manager so as to complete and achieve the projects’ objectives/ metrics as planned.

II- Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Conducts site inspection, collects the data and transfers the information to design team to prepare drawings.

2. Verifies all drawings from design team prior to moving to construction phase.

3. Deals with customer requires related to drawings and requirements.

4. Coordinates with design team, customers and sub contractors during construction.

5. Checks and inspects the quality of work carried out by workers of subcontractors.

6. Assists and follows the assignments of project manager in ensuring that the projects are implemented on time, safety and in accordance with the customer requirements

7. Be responsible for testing and commissioning all equipment with subcontractors after installation.

8. Be responsible for customer training after project completed.

9. Be responsible for final inspection and collection the data for as built drawings.

10. The position is accountable for implementing assigned responsibilities and activities to attain project goals and objectives.

11. The position is accountable for strictly complying with Chubb’s Code of Ethics.

12. The position is accountable for implementing assigned responsibilities and activities to attain EH&S goals and objectives and complying with EH&S policies, applicable rules, procedures, and regulations.

III- Qualifications & Compentencies

The incumbent should possess:-

1- a degree in Engineering is required/preferred.

2- a minimum 3 years of Project Management knowledge, skills, experience.

3- Knowledge and experience in any kind of engineering management, problem solving, strong systematic and analytical thinking skills, strong knowledge of commercial terms and conditions, working within an ISO 9000 quality environment, strong coaching, influential and negotiation skills.

4- Good English communications and computer competencies.

5- Adaptability, Analytical Thinking, Teamwork, Communications, Listening and Ethics.

6- Experience in LTA projects is preferred.
