JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Guest Service Agent is the first point of contact for the guests and will support in managing the day-to-day operations in the reception area to ensure that guests feel welcomed.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide quality service to the guest by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.
• Provide a creative experience to all guests
• Ensure all guests are welcome/farewell in a personalized manner; VIPs to be escorted to the room to introduce hotel facilities
• Assist guests in the lobby during busy periods and whenever required
• Collect guest feedback in the lobby when the opportunity arise, and update all the Guest Comments in the Opera Guest History.
• Ensure that the welcome drink corner is always clean and ready and the lobby is neat at all times
• Maintain strict security procedures with accounting procedures, issue of room keys and guest confidentiality.
• Use every opportunity to promote hotel facilities and maximise sales through sound product knowledge and selling skills.
• Carry out reception duties as required
• Provide a smooth and timely check in/out for all guests
• Ensure that guest request/s are being followed up promptly and efficiently throughout their stay; following up with traces
• Provide all guest with accurate and in-depth information upon their request; good knowledge of products, services, pricing, special promotional offers and special events

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
• Preferably 1 year of experience in a similar capacity

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Report and assist Project Manager (PM) on project functions included but not limited to project management, site management, risk control management etc. to meet the project(s) goals.
• Assist Project Manager in project planning, implementation and to coordinate all construction works on the project site are in accordance to the master and detailed work program.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist Project Manager to oversee, coordinate & execute assigned projects. And ensure projects complete and deliver it on scope, on schedule & on quality.
• Perform project schedule, planning, material requisition, cost monitoring and documentation submission & control.
• Coordinate with the internal design team & external customers on project document & drawings submission, amendments, re-submission & approval.
• Update & backup project documentation, drawings, reports & procedures (SOP, WI, Lesson Learned, etc.)
• Participate projects progress meeting and update weekly status, monitor contracts completion and submit weekly reports to PM & customers.
• Work closely with internal team (production, logistic, QC, service etc.) on project schedule and deliveries, FAT, SAT, and modification work.
• Co-ordinate with principals and customers to support technical matters of products manufacturing in factory, and systems installation on site.
• Attend site meetings, site surveys and switch room measurement etc. site activities.
• Liaise with customers on factory inspection, deliveries, installation and on-site testing.
• Work together with PM & team members to attend & service customers’ complaints, feedbacks and provide solution for project change requirement.
• Support team members work to enhance teamwork spirit.
• Participate in product demonstrations, testing and commissioning if required.
• Any other duties when assigned by management.
• Ensure all safety measures and proper housekeeping rules are implement.
• Adhere to plant safety, food safety, sanitation standards and following all governance guidelines.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or related industrial engineering field.

EXPERIENCE & SKILL FACTORS

• Min 2 years’ working experience, prefer in project management.
• Some hands-on experience of electrical SWBD and system assembly & installation.
• Familiar with local codes, regulations and procedures.
• IT skills (MS Office). AutoCAD preferred.
• Good communication and people relation skills.
• Leadership, ownership, team player, self-motivated.
• Attention to details and eager to learn new technology

Responsibilties

• Perform servicing of chillers & other HVAC equipment
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance for chillers and related equipment
• Have basic knowledge of overhaul & start up jobs on chillers
• Liaising with customers to resolve complaints cases
• Coordination with vendors and contractors in job coordination
• Assist or involve in schedule planning & prepare technical analysis reports for management’s review
• Ensure all works carried out in accordance with the specified quality and EHS standards
• Any other duties as deemed necessary from times to times

Requirements:

• NITEC/ Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant experience in Chiller Systems/ Air-conditioning / BMS / ACMV / HVAC
