About the role

Due to continued growth, an exciting contract opportunity now exists to join a highly experienced,

collaborative and outcomes focused Asia-Pacific IT team working closely with the helpdesk and applications

team, end users and stakeholders across the region.

We are seeking an Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our Infrastructure Team to manage the day to day

operations of our network and infrastructure, as well as level two help desk support and project related tasks.

The scope includes all infrastructure used by our regional offices, such as networks, servers, databases,

devices, user desktops/laptops, virtualisation, phone system, email, etc.

This role will be based in Singapore and reports to the IT Operations Manager– Asia.

Key Responsibilities

▪ Provide end user support for day-to-day Laptop/PC usage (both applications and infrastructure)

system with regards to Infrastructure and Network related issues

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related subject with at least 5 years of work experience;
• Proven hands-on software development experience in Java; Able to write well-designed, testable, efficient code; Good knowledge of relational & non-relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies;
• Excellent understanding of the basic principles of distributed system and microservice architecture； Proficiency in developing microservices using Springboot/Kafka/Redis/MQ/RPC and other open source frameworks;
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principle and experience with OAuth for secure and authentication;
• Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex integration issues
• Experience with public cloud/cloud native/Kubernetes is an advantage;

Duties and Responsibilities
