• Prepare the commissioning before going on site

• Plan own and local employees work every day.

Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering
• More than10 years relevant experience in commissioning of automation industry control systems.
• Experience in airport BHS PLC control system
• Proficient in Siemens-S7 (or TIA) PLC programming
• Committed and good team player with the ability to work independently
• Good communication skills
• Strong analytical abilityAble to travel more than 350 days a year worldwide
• Able to work in a culturally diverse environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive for requirements and specifications development and translate them into design guidelines and test protocols.

• Provide mechanical design and design optimization involving 3D modelling/2D drawing, tolerance stack-up analysis, material selection, structure analysis, process and tooling (stamping, die casting).

• Provide thermal design and analysis at a component, subassembly, and system level. To accomplish this, you need to have wide experience and deep understanding on the latest cooling technology and the individual cooling components such as cold plate, pump, heat exchanger, instrumentation and control, and methodologies used in power electronics.

• Perform thermal & flow analysis, and structural analysis (vibration/shock/drop) on different types of components/sub-assembly such as cold plate, heat sinks/heat pipes, thermal interface materials, high powered electronics, printed circuit boards (PCBs), cabinet/enclosure.

• Conduct prototype assembly, testing and troubleshooting, FMEA and Dfx activity.

• Work closely with EE/FW to ensure that all design requirements are specified and achieved.

• Address and resolve product issues through the overall product development phases.

• Propose innovative technology/process to meet requirements of quality and cost of product.

Key Education and Experiences:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Mechanical/Thermal/Energy Engineering or related.

• 3 years and above experience is preferable.

• Strong mechanical/thermal/energy engineering fundamentals and skills, including design principle, metal/plastic/rubber design rules, fluid mechanics, thermodynamic systems, finite element analysis, material and surface treatment, gasket and sealing, and fabrication methods, are required.

• Wide experience in cooling of electronics, thermal and structural simulations.

• Experience and hands-on capability in test and verification of complex thermal/cooling systems.

• Experience in FMEA, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA.

• Proficient with Solidworks (Standard) and associated finite element tools (Flow and Structure Simulation) or other CAD/CAE tools, preferably CFD simulation tools such as Flotherm.

SUMMARY OF ROLE

As an Environment, Health, Safety Engineer, you will be the leading the operations for EHS for our Singapore sites for safety matters, EHS trainings and reviewing any procedures. You will also be the advisor for EHS related legislation and requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To maintain and implement environmental, health and safety (EHS) management framework and programs for Singapore sites.
• Educate and train employees on EHS requirements and regulations to promote zero accident culture.
• Advice site management on EHS related legislation and requirements.
• Network with global EHS team for training, new technology applications, and leverage best practices.
• Lead overall Plant Operation Safety matters, EHS training, reviewing Safe Work Procedures and Incident Investigation.
• Responsible for providing technical safety advice to the relevant stakeholders. Mentor stakeholders on EHS Management System.
• Conduct daily walk about (safety inspections) and rectify any safety hazard that is found within the premises promptly.
• Work with other team members of updating the required licenses, approvals and certifications which are necessary for the facilities’ operations and
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirements

• Candidate must possess Diploma or Degree in EHS or any Engineering discipline.
• WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (SDWSH) – Level C
• Candidate must have minimum 2 years of EHS related working experience in Manufacturing and/or Semiconductor industries.
• Candidate will need to be Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with Ministry of Manpower
• Candidate must effectively partner and delivers results in a matrix environment; works collaboratively with different (external) engineering and supply chain organizations.
• Candidate will need to have knowledge of local regulation and EHS requirements.

a) To report to the Manager or team leader as shown in the organization chart. He/she is responsible for the assigned or related project tasks and responsibilities.

b) The detailed duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

i) Study and fully understand the ISO requirements, technical drawings, scope, contractual requirements and sub-contract agreements. Work with the consultants to resolve technical issues prior to construction.

ii) Submit to superior for feedback and concurrence on short or medium-term programmes and execute the works according to the detailed programme.

iii) Ensure that the works are carried out according to the approved drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements. Managing the works with excellent housekeeping is a key focus.

iv) For quality management, the engineer is responsible to fully implement with the quality recordings, carry out result analysis and formulate action plans for continuous improvement.

v) Implement and maintain proper recordings to comply with EHS, quality, client and authorities’ requirements.

vi) Responsible for cost management so that the materials used for both temporary works and permanent works are not damaged or control the wastage within specified tolerance. Rework or abortive work which has serious time and cost impacts shall be avoided.

vii) Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.
