Customer Service Officers (Full-time, Ang Mo Kio)

The Write Connection is a premier learning centre in Singapore. Our Customer Service Officers (CSOs) are among the best in the industry as we hold them to high standards to deliver premium service to our customers.

Work Hours

Full-time employees must work a 5-day week, including a weekend. Your work schedule is pegged to the center's operation hours and operational needs. As a general rule, you will work the following hours:

• Weekdays: 12.30pm to 9.30pm (inclusive of one hour's meal break)
• Saturday or Sunday: 8.30am to 6.30pm (inclusive of one hour's meal break)
• 1 weekday off; 1 rest day
• +/- 2-hour meeting per week

Work Location

Work location is subject to operational needs. You need to be comfortable with travelling to branches around Singapore.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and Customer Service

• Explain our courses, education philosophy and pedagogy to potential customers
• Promote TWC programmes to potential and existing customers
• Build relationships with our customers
• Handle phone and email queries effectively and promptly
• Perform and manage sales transaction effectively and promptly

Administrative Duties

• Arrange replacement lessons for students, and appointments for parents, Centre Management or teachers
• Responsible for center's inventory and simple logistics
• Other administrative and ad hoc duties, e.g. filing documents

Job Requirements

• Have minimum GCE 'O' levels qualifications
• Possess at least 1 year of relevant work experience in customer service-related job roles, preferably in enrichment centers settings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Candidates who are proficient with MacBook and G-Suites (e.g. Drive, Gmail, Docs, and Sheets) would have added advantage
• Possess excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written), strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Able to display effective and efficient customer service abilities
• Possess good work ethics (e.g. Integrity, professionalism, committed to excellence)
• Willing to be trained according to TWC ethos and SOPs
• Able to work independently and also a team player
• Open to be deployed at other centers due to work exigencies

Job Description:

• Responsible for IP level and/or SOC level verification.
• Develop verification plan for complex digital IP from design spec, work closely with design engineers to identify important verification scenarios.
• Create verification environment/testbench with Bus Functional Model (BFM) using SystemVerilog, UVM and/or System C.
• Identify and implement functional coverage and SystemVerilog Assertions to catch functional bugs and to boost design quality prior to tape-out.
• Develop directed/use case/random test cases using SystemVerilog, analyse test results, debug tests and improve verification quality.
• Knowing to use Formal verification with SystemVerilog Assertion (SVA) to verify IP block is a plus.

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Familiar with AMBA bus protocol (AXI, CHI, ACE, APB).
• Experience with verification methodology such as SystemVerilog, OVM, UVM, SystemC.
• Experience with functional coverage/SVA assertions and test sequence/case writing.
• Experience with the full verification execution cycle.
• Experience in developing measurable verification plan.
• Experience with function verification for common SoC building blocks and verification IP for NOC/Interconnect/Fabric/PCIE, etc. are added advantages.
• Strong problem solver, communicator and team player.
• Scripting skills in Perl, Python, TCL, shell, etc.

Requirements for Software Engineer (Devices):

(a) Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of one or more devices that are part of an integrated e-payment Fare Collection System. The successful candidate will also be involved in the software development lifecycle from the definition of requirements to design and development, and testing.

The activities required to be performed shall include the following:

• Requirements gathering;

• Design, development, and maintenance of the software;

• Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycles such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Documents, Design Specification, Interface Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manuals, Training Manual, and other documents as required in the standard adopted by the Authority;

• Assist the Authority with day-to-day application support issues; and

• Liaise with users on the requirements, design, and testing issues.

(b) Qualifications & Requirements:

 Tertiary qualification in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering/ Computer Science or a relevant discipline

 At least 3 years in software development and system integration

 Experiences in C++ application development in Windows/Embedded platforms

 Knowledge or work experience in the following areas is an added advantage:

• Undertake all stages of Projects, from start to end.
• Calculate quantity of material for the whole project.
