Mid-Level ServiceNow Engineer - 3 to 5 years hands-on experience working with ServiceNow.
Job Summary:
ServiceNow Engineer will have hands-on experience in developing, configuring, and maintaining the
ServiceNow platform to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and deliver seamless service
delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to
work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Platform Development and Configuration
â—Ź Design, develop, and implement custom workflows, modules, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
â—Ź Configure ServiceNow applications, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and others as per business needs.
â—Ź Create and manage UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and workflows.
2. Administration and Maintenance
â—Ź Perform platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure system reliability and security.
â—Ź Monitor system performance and resolve incidents, bugs, or technical issues promptly.
â—Ź Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with best practices and organizational standards.
3. Integration and Customization
â—Ź Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and implement integrations with third-party systems.
â—Ź Develop custom applications or enhance existing ones to meet unique business requirements.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
â—Ź Work closely with business units to understand and document requirements, translating
them into technical solutions.
â—Ź Provide technical guidance and support training to end-users and team members.
5. Innovation and Optimization
â—Ź Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement using the ServiceNow platform.
â—Ź Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
â—Ź Proficiency in ServiceNow platform development, including ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and Scripting (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
â—Ź Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM.
â—Ź Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, LDAP, SSO, and MID Server.
â—Ź Hands-on experience with ServiceNow upgrades, version management, and performance optimization.
● ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required.
● Advanced certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist, Certified Application Developer) – preferred.
â—Ź Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
