• Collaborate with Project Manager, Frontend Developers, UX Designers and Data
• Analyst to build scalable data-driven products.
• Be responsible for developing backend APIs & working on databases to support the applications.
• Bridge the gap between engineering and analytics.
• Work in an Agile Environment that practices Continuous Integration and Delivery
• Work closely with fellow developers through pair programming and code review process

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Experience with building production-grade data pipelines, ETL/ELT data integration with proper documentation
• Proficient in general data cleaning and transformation (e.g. pandas, pysparks, SQL)
• Knowledge in database design and various databases (e.g. structured dbase(postgres, mysql etc and unstructured -mongodb  etc)
• Knowledge about system design, data structure and algorithms
• Knowledge with rest api and web requests/protocols in general
• Comfortable coding in at least 2 scripting language (eg. Python/SQL)
• Comfortable working in both windows and linux development environments
• Interest in data engineering in a big data environment using Cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Familiar with data modelling, data access, and data storage infrastructure like Data Mart, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse.
• Proficient in creating comprehensive data dictionaries to ensure clear and consistent data definitions.
• Skilled in designing Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) to visually represent data models and relationships.
• Capable of collaborating with stakeholders to understand business processes and develop effective data solutions.
• Familiar with BI Tools such as Tableau
• Familiar with Docker containers

Your expertise :

• experience in Agile Methodology & DevOps practices and tools

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with application development and support in Private banking / wealth management.

• good understanding of the capital market domain

• ability to solve complex issues (covering both technical and business areas)

• strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (i.e. you know how to figure problems out)

• ability to automate repetitive and mundane tasks, and eliminate the TOIL

We are looking for an experience individual to join us as Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (System Administration and ServiceNow)! This will be offered as a contract employment.

You will work as a member of the Service Management and Insights Platform (SMIP) Team, assisting the Lead Engineer in supporting Agile solution delivery and managing key services on the whole-of-government (WOG) platform. The primary focus of this role is the administration and management of the ServiceNow platform, along with responsibilities for maintaining and optimizing other cloud infrastructure components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow platform administration, cloud infrastructure management, and a passion for ensuring system reliability, security, and scalability.

A brief summary of your job responsibility:

• Manage the overall health and performance of the ServiceNow platform, including upgrades, patches, and maintenance;
• Configure and maintain ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, CSM) to align with business requirements;
• Ensure compliance with governance standards and best practices for the ServiceNow instance;
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues and incidents;
• Ensure optimal platform operation in terms of availability, capacity, security, and business continuity;
• Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure components (e.g., AWS, Azure) to ensure high availability and performance;
• Assist in the design and deployment of secure and scalable cloud solutions;
• Implement cloud automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues;

• Recommend and implement enhancements to improve system reliability and efficiency;
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure infrastructure aligns with business goals;
• Collaborate with development teams to support customizations, CI/CD pipelines and integrations
• Ensure project implementation and operations are aligned with Government technology standards and policies;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, application development, and business stakeholders and
• Perform any other IT related tasks / duties as and when assigned to support the smooth business operations.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on-experience in ServiceNow platform administration;
• Proficient in System Administration (RHEL & Windows), Networks and Cloud Solutions (AWS, Azure);
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-technical audience and Senior Management.
