We are currently recruiting for experienced Senior Engineer – Mechanical / Environmental Sustainability to join our Building Services team in Singapore.

You will be joining our Centre of Excellence (CenEx) team, led by one of our Technical Director who was recently conferred the SGBC-BCA Professional Leadership in Sustainability Award.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:

• Leading mechanical services design and environmental sustainability design for building projects.
• Assume responsibility and undertake engineering tasks of increasing scope and complexity.
• Carry out site condition assessment, feasibility studies, energy audits and technical due diligence.
• Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and technical report writing.
• Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants.
• In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting.
• Communicate effectively with the client, sub-consultants, contractors, and other parties relevant to the job.
• Assist in assessment and review of designs prepared by others on behalf of the clients.
• Liaise with authorities on plans submission and compliance.

Pre-Requisites

• Degree in a Mechanical Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 5-7 years relevant working experience in the design & supervision of building service projects and Fire Protection.
• Experience in leading roles for design & design management of residential, commercial, institutional or hotel projects will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures.
• Understanding of energy efficient mechanical systems and equipment with Green Building design experience and knowledge of Green Mark/ LEED is an added advantage.
• Competent user of relevant engineering software and simulation tools.
• Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English.
• Able to work independently & exercise initiative.
• Excellent delegation and communication skills, which sees you enlist the help of others to meet objectives

Job Description:

• Receive and log service requests from customers or warranty enquiries - to work with service manager to ensure assignment of appropriate service technician.
• To assist and support management in monitoring technicians' attendance, OT, allowance claims and monitor progress to close out all service jobs.
• Ensure all quotations for service repairs are actions and recorded.
• Generate Purchase Orders to vendors for the procurement of goods/supplies required for service jobs, etc.
• Ensure Delivery Orders are logged correctly and monitor vendor invoices are received timely and in complete order.
• Generate quotations and order entry for spare parts.

The role will work as a member of the Global Cybersecurity organisation - Security Architecture team, which is focused on improving technology and architecture decision-making through collaboration with management, staff and customers on technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and investments in strategic security technology.

The individual, with a broad cybersecurity plus systems and network architecture knowledge and experience, will deliver security assessments while supporting our direction, lifecycle management and leadership for security architecture and technology. The individual will perform a key role in Security assessments while supporting various critical initiatives through the identification, analysis, evaluation, lifecycle management and adoption of security architectures and technologies. The Security Architect will work closely with other security functions and will provide guidance to ensure that there is coordination with their activities in technology choices. In addition, the Security Architect will be involved with education and mentorship, supporting the delivery framework, development of technical architecture and associated documentation, as well as advanced topics of research.

Essential Functions:

• Be a product security champion by driving Security Architecture and Design, implementation and optimization for Web, API and Mobile backend applications across Visa.

• Applying security design principles to develop security solutions architectures

• Engage in the initial requirements definition including analysis of threats and risks and alignment with Visa security, Engineering, IT and Architecture standards.

• Conduct and facilitate security reviews, threat modelling including deep design reviews throughout the development lifecycle.

• Facilitate 'table-top'/red-team/scenario analysis exercises in conjunction with other SMEs. Plan the resolution of any identified vulnerabilities/issues.

• You’ll be working on enabling/building security controls which protect the applications from attacks on various platforms and technologies, like:

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare the equipment list
• Prepare the specification and data sheet as per codes / standards, project and client’s requirement, for pump, loading arm, lifting cranes, marine gangway, air compressor, nitrogen package, hot oil package, oily water system, vapor recovery system and etc equipment for Oil & Gas industries
• Prepare the specification and data sheet for cryogenic pump, BOG compressor, condenser, LPG heater, seawater strainer, flare and etc equipment for LPG industries
• Prepare the requisition and RFQ documents for vendor enquiry
• Prepare the technical clarification and technical bid evaluation of vendor proposal
• Review and check the drawings, designs specification, materials and equipment from vendor for conformity with project technical requirements
• To liaise effectively with vendor and inter-departments to resolve engineering technical issue
• To resolve and response to client comment.
• Prepare information drawing for interface design work whenever is necessary
• Prepare bill of material for cost estimation of bid project
• Provide engineering support for the equipment installation and commissioning activities at site
• Provide engineering support for maintenance works.
• To carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor or principle engineer

Qualification & Experience Generally Required

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
• Min. 1 to 2 years engineering knowledge in mechanical disciplines in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
• Experienced in equipment engineering specifications and standards
• Familiar with industrial standards and local codes
• Strong communication skills and the ability to stay organised and multi-task
• Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, Autocad
